Asperger's, you never cease to amaze me. Somehow used as a sign of genius amongst hackers while at the same time being reason you should have charges dropped.
I was being serious, not trying to incite an argument. I haven't owned a nexus 1, so I suppose I shouldn't have commented on whether the screen issue was a problem or not, but could a nexus 1 owner comment on whether or not the screen issue was as big a deal the comparisons online I've read seemed to insist?
I swear, judge! I downloaded that copy of Backyard Vixens 7 because I was trying to make sure nobody infringed on their copyright to do doggie style...that way.
I doubt it had to do with it being available online. I think, rather, that the whole "let's share green pixels or whatnot that made the screen blurry on text and such made it's way around enough that people just didn't want it. Everywhere I looked at comparisons between the nexus 1 and other phones pointed out the blurry OLED screen issue as well as the greenish hue to images.
Now this, I'm excited about. However, with the recent announcement that 3D PS3 games are going to be limited to 720p, I imagine we're either not seeing this on the PS3, it's going to be limited even more in framerate and res, or all of the above.
Now this is really bugging me. I like mah xboxes and such, but why is the xbox design team part of this list and not the design team from the many other much more influential consoles than of all things, THE FIRST XBOX?!
It's fine if they want to induct mainly people into the "Hall of Fame" as it were, but why does Pac-Man get the sole video game induction? I don't doubt the effect Pac Man has had over the years but surely some other games deserve mention if even ONE game gets the nod.
Why is Miyamoto listed as "creator of Donkey Kong"? Surely he is well known for MUCH MUCH more than just donkey kong, it's as if they treat him as some obscure programmer when everyone knows he's much more than that.
Do most third party applications on PCs put themselves in a sandbox? Is this Adobe adopting the way of the majority or are sandboxed applications rare in a PC environment?
I was under the impression that using a sandbox wasn't standard and the first thing that came to mind was the sandbox limitations Apple is famous for imposing on every third party developer for iDevices.
Believe it or not, you can buy something and not even use it. I'm sure many a guy is confused when he sees a woman's closet that has a bunch of clothes with the tags still on because they were never worn.
...instead of there being a comparatively select few in the world who get actual journalism jobs, there's an endless supply of journalists writing things online that anyone could do?
They're burned out because the *blogosphere* (eurggh) is too flooded for anyone to get very far doing just that. If there were something to aspire to other than maybe, by chance, becoming one of the "popular blogs" and continuing to do what you've always done, they'd be all starry eyed and happy.
How could you be satisfied when you, the average facebook user, instead of spending your day trying to do something constructive or interesting, you decide what food you'd like to eat that you could post about that people would click "like this". Eh, who needs food, my crops are dying.
Besides, when the sun shines on a matte screen, you can't see a thing either.
That's not the point. If you have the sun directly shining on most screens (ie not pixel qi or e-ink), you're right, you won't see anything.
The problem is when you are in the shade enough to see the screen but the entire world around you is much more lit up than usual, the reflections on a glossy screen are freaking ridiculous. So you end up craning your head in order to get a good view of the screen. On a matte screen this is not a problem.
It doesn't. I'm using a thinkpad right now and the screen is fine. Every few months the screen gets a little dusty but even then you don't notice it until you actually touch the screen.
Pah, no luck needed. The infinite improbability drive guarantees getting the babel fish. And the peanuts.

For some reason when you said "track them down" I imagined you navigating a maze chewing on pellets.

While I can't wait to see how this pans out, I still wouldn't like to be so close to the bleeding edge of the future that I get run over.

Google also announced they are raising the security reward for Chrome vulnerabilities to $3133.7
That's quite the elite sum of money to use as a reward.
The downloads page says it requires QWave for waveform display and playback. Could that be the problem?
Why don't you give XTrans a shot: XTrans

Be sure to hide one in the janitor's closet of the room where one is hiding in plain sight.
Sounds suspiciously Apple-like. iPhone apps do this very thing.
Believe it or not, you can buy something and not even use it. I'm sure many a guy is confused when he sees a woman's closet that has a bunch of clothes with the tags still on because they were never worn.
...that a special ISP has to be launched to get the type of protections every ISP should have.
Once I realized this I had no problems with my glossy MacBookPro and I can't stand going back to matte as it looks like the whole screen is dirty.
Have you tried a matte macbook pro? You may just be happy with the great color (and contrast?) of macbook screens.

As it is, they're just bored.

How long was I asleep? TFS sounds like it could be properly used to discuss weapons systems of interstellar fighters.

He must be licking his screen or something.
