I can definitely say, as an Australian Federal Public Service employee that web-based email is completely blocked. It is actually cause for immediate dismissal if you try to access them.

Words mean things. Everyone has to agree what those things are. If your definition of a word doesn't match the rest of the world's definition, you have a problem, not the rest of the world.
What about the word "theory". I think that most people in the world would use it incorrectly, but it doesn't change the meaning of the word.
I am guessing there will be another moonshot now, considering they just started calling this the "Chandrayan-1" instead of "Chandrayan" with no numbers next to it.
I myself use maybe 10%. There are parts (of Windows Vista) that I have never explored and will never explore. I just do not need all that functionality.
Yes, but who is to say that every user uses the same 10%? If most users only utilise 10%, I would think that these 10% segments overlap enough to cover a significant proportion of the total function of the OS.
Last I checked you can't use a debit card over the internet...
You can't use an EFTPOS card over the internet (eg Maestro) but you can definitely use a debit Mastercard on the internet.
Also, in Australia at least, you can't get a debit card until you are 18 (with most of the major banks).
This is exactly how the replicators began.... Slow old 72Mhz processors and then you put enough of them together and the thing goes evil and start taking over the universe.....
I feel that I should say something about the Replicators not being evil as much as a virus is evil.
In 1994 Leonard M. Adleman solved the travelling salesman problem in 7 days with a DNA computer.
I think that is probably what you are thinking of.

Yes, but if you know that the number refers to a number of moles then that defeats the point of the search.
The idea is to be able to search for numbers with no context.

You are assuming of course that there will be no other missions sent to Mars in their lifetimes, which I would consider unlikely.
Not if they are Korean!
Yeah, because the Korean space program is mars-ready!
But its not even Christmas yet!

Apparently they have already completed the design phase of Chandrayan-2 http://newstodaynet.com/newsindex.php?id=19032%20&%20section=5

What, no skynet tag? What's wrong with you /.?
Probably a !skynet tag would be more appropriate.
The future of cellphones is pretty much neural nanionics from Peter F Hamilton's 'Nights Dawn' trilogy.
What I want is a phone that works telepathically. In fact, screw the telepathy...
there are other uses for the internet? ;)
Most of the rest of it is taken up by Slashdot
