Naa, it's just like any other class action lawsuit the "higher class" is sued by the "lower class"...
In this case we're just talking about a lower class of human than anyone could have possibly imagined. In my opinion, we should give his body to science... We'd get more use out of it than he seems to be at least:)
When I fixed printers and faxes we used something called Rubber Rejuvenator to clean the rollers with, seemed to work pretty well for staving off replacing roller's for a few months or longer at most places we used it. I can't find a link to the exact same stuff we used anymore though I can tell you it was a spray can and that this may work as well: http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/specials/misc/all/S03
Perhaps, just perhaps, the original point that Iran has a better foreign relations record when it comes to war starting than the United States (which is plainly obvious to anyone with a shred of historic awareness and a hint of objectivity) needs to be considered with more than just a pithy remark in response. Or is that too painful for you to consider?

Yes, and from the ISP viewpoint, as a hosting provider one should know how to at least read and verify mail headers. simply put:
1. check first outbound mailserver it hits
2. verify the domain of first mailserver is owned by Louis Vuitton
3. If in doubt, contact the technical contact of Louis Vuitton's domain
Could some of this be forged ? Sure
If it meant my business, would I take the chance? Absolutely Not
After all, if it's a legit operation the victim can always file a claim to re-instate the site, with this in place, you were just doing what's required under the DMCA.
Either way tt's an ugly battle to get caught in the middle of......
No, the court just enforced the DMCA's take down provisions that is all. Seriously, quit blowing this so out of proportion. I hate the DMCA as much as anyone else here, but until it is repealed or we get sane judges to smack it down, we're stuck with it.

Actually I've read quite a few articles where businesses will be forcing american companies to travel international to do business (or do business with companies not based in the states) citing reasons very similar to and including this one....
ummm Slackware 4 was released as 3 or 4 cds, I'm pretty sure 8.0 may have been a single DVD distro, but it certaintly was NOT a single CD; unless your talking about install wise, which it still can be if your willing to forget about Xwindows.....
I've run Slackware in production plenty of times for years at a time with no issues, maybe you just don't how to configure it for your purposes? You don't HAVE to pick every package you want, but it does give you that option. It sounds more like you're not familiar enough with the installer to manage a successful installation to end up having only the tools needed for the function said production machine is going to require.
That said, I've not had much of a problem with package management for Slackware, maybe you should check out/var/log/packages, learn to use grep, put together a few simple scripts, and check out slackbuilds.org.
I'll admit this does require more working than just slamming a distro because it doesn't take 3days+ to install or doesn't have a nice pretty GUI that's point'n'click easy. But what I do know? I just want stable/secure servers that aren't that difficult to patch, to me Slackware covers all that once you get through the learning curve.
Yes, it worked 15 years ago, but 15 years ago is when mice became the standard game controllers instead of joysticks. Multiple mice don't work well together and modern keyboards don't support many simultaneous keypresses; mice and keyboards simply suck for single-screen MP. Joysticks don't have either of those problems, but they're pretty rare nowadays. No, modern PCs can't handle single-screen multiplayer.
Because joysticks aren't commonplace? Just because they aren't doesn't mean they are:
1. not available
2. not in use
3. not configurable for most games
the strawman is burning.....
Sure, Internet play works for the games that have to be played on a split screen (FPSes for example), but there are types of games that are naturally shared screen, most notably fighting games. Even if playing online, both players will see the same view. These are pretty much exclusive to consoles now.
I don't play many of this genre, but wal-mart's site says there are a few "fighting & shooting" games for pc, just take a look here
