    What software can a Nook Color running Cyanagen mod not run that you need? I haven't run into anything it cannot do that I need.

    What you just said is akin to saying that an iMac is junk because it can't natively run Windows apps. If you consider Fusion, what is the difference between that and RDP from a Nook Color?

    Are you saying that the Kindle Fire has a Nook Books app? That changes my opinion of the device, and would make it viable as a replacement for my Nook.

    So you do something with two Apple devices that the Tivo does natively, then bitch that the Tivo isn't as useful? Tivo supports Hulu and Netflix out of the box, it also supports streaming video from a computer.

    Whereas many TV/Bluray/other living room electronics already do all of these things. Hell, my new bluray player supports all the different media sources, how is this worse than an Apple device that still doesn't exist?

    They exist. They just need refinement and to be made available from the manufacturers.

    There is also the massive problem of malpractice insurance. The doctor who delivered my children had to go out of business because, even though he was a good doctor, the malpractice insurance was too expensive to afford. All because people read the papers about there being a risk of death, or blindness, or whatever, and think the risk won't hit them, then when it does, they sue the doctor for it happening. If we could reduce lawsuit payouts, the healthcare system would become much cheaper to run.

    I think SLS is only a stop-gap measure because NASA is too deeply engrained with...ahem...an older generation that won't move outside of a certain comfort zone

    So we should fire certain congressmen from Utah? They are the ones demanding SLS, not NASA who think it is a dumb idea.

    incandescent bulbs don't care if it is AC or DC, both will work. The motor comment however is correct.
