  1. Can you please point out two comments that have been deleted by Slashdot?

As far as I know, there has only ever been a single comment in the whole history of Slashdot, and that was deleted due to a court order because of copyright infringement of the Church of Scientology's IP.

No, responding properly to DMCA takedown notices will make your site legal. Thumbing your nose at the notices however makes you responsible for the content of everything on your site.

I don't understand why this silly notion that Google should be sued keeps coming up, there is a significant difference in the response a label gets from Google as from KAT.

They also respond properly to DMCA takedown notices and remove any copyrighted work they are notified of. What point exactly were you trying to make? Do you think that Google fails to follow the letter of the law in some way and is somehow more responsible to the results of other people posting things?

  6. The funniest thing though is that the made the exact opposite stand when it was nudes of Jennifer Lawrence. They made the argument that no one should publish them because it was wrong.

I don't get the cognitive dissonance of the two opposing positions they took. It must be because Hogan has a penis, so is inherently evil?

Do we? Helium is so worthless because it is common that most oil wells just vent it into the air. Helium is quite common in the Earth's crust, it really isn't as rare as you might think.

The only Helium shortage we are experiencing is that the US national reserve might run out since they are selling it off as fast as possible.

A 2-3% pay raise is actually reducing your buying power year on year. That employee was getting severely underpaid for the position, it didn't even give them an increase for increased experience and being better at the job over time. You do realize that there is this thing called inflation? If you don't give people raises of at least that amount, then you are paying them less than the amount you paid last year, even if the raw dollar value is more.
