    The only benefit from recent density improvements was cost reduction as it is possible to get more chips from the same wafer. There is no speed or energy usage improvement.

    Gnome 2: Move the pointer to the top left. Click once on the appllications menu. Click once on the sub-menu and lastly click on the application laucher. New Gnome 3 Shell: Move the pointer to the top left corner. Move it to the Application link. Click once or more until you hit that link. Now wait... Just a bit more... Once the applications menu appear move the cursor to the right edge of the screen. Click on the menu item once or more until you hit it. Now if you are lucky there will be few items to choose from. Else take a long look at the icons list to find the one you want. If it is not there just scroll down and keep searching.

    It is that it makes pages load slower because browsers do not cache SSL content unless the Cache-Control HTTP header is set to Public. When some of the content in a SSL page, like images, have that header set to Public the browser will show a warning stating that some of the content on that page is not secure frightening the user. So what will a site owner do? 1) Use SSL without browser caching and make the site much slower; 2) Use SSL setting some content as cacheable and risking loosing its users or; 3) Send everything in the open making the ignorant user happier?

    Lastly.... despite what the article summary says here on Slashdot, overall Flash performance is quite a bit better in 10.1, especially on OS X. Do your own benchmarking; you'll see for yourself.

    I did. In Linux CPU utilization went from 20% to 80%. I want 10.0 back.

    How lucky you are. I have both SPF and DomainKeys implemented and one of my domains has plenty of problems with Hotmail and Yahoo. I send no lists. Never sent anything with a resemblance of spam. Only email confirmation emails. My IP is clean everywhere.

    The joystick would not directly control the turn angle but the speed of the turn angle change. Much like in an airplane what is controlled is the speed at which the wings angle is changed and not the wings angle directly.
