Bah, flame all you want. This is definitely the right thing to do. In over 4 years or so using Linux, I have never like KDE. Too windows-like. Gnome is a lot better choice and a better license all around.
Certainly the winner mod should make UT2k3 behave and look like the original UT...... nevermind, I guess I'll keep playing my ol' UT. I just wish I could get my $45 back for my UT2k3 CD...
After 3 exellent RCs that had a lot of minor glitches it was about time they release a final version...... now if only people would stop complaining about stupid errors in the cookers-list...
get a life! Do a clean install and restore your personal files afterwards...
one good reason... there is NO good HOW-TOs for dump on ext2/3... man is great, but somebody has to write something humanly readable/understandable for those of us who just don't bother to read all features of a command before using it.

I know how dump works though. I have used ufsdump on solaris (i'm a sysadmin for 7 solaris servers).
