G-forces? How could an automotive robot simulate the intense gravitational forces that are half the fun of rollercoasters? Especially in 11x12m of space?

This is what it looks like without the shadows. (From 2001 Mars Global Surveyor)
Most food places in Europe have been doing this for years now. The theory is that a customer will think that they are getting more if they order an 8oz (or whatever) "regular" than if they order an 8oz "small." It's a psychological thing that almost prohibits anyone from selling anything that is "small," "tiny," "whatever." "Medium" or "Regular" makes it look better/more appealing.
It also looks like if you put a dummy e-mail address in as one of your "Alternate Email" address, you can select all the spam options as yes and they will all go to the dummy address.
From the article: SAN FRANCISCO -- A federal judge gave the recording industry another victory Tuesday in its bid to control digital music, saying Napster Inc. has just 72 hours to block any copyright songs.
Only in my dreams would the RIAA's lawyers be dumb enough to word it that way....
What's more, Microsoft last year began to take notice of Linux. In the spring, for example, it released a study showing that Windows NT outperformed Linux in some common computing tasks.
aka, Microsoft doesn't notice other competitors until they are better than them or they can buy them...interesting
...its called an aibo. hook a mini nerf gun to that little sucker and with some creative java interface progamming, you could scare away a bladerunner with it...
blah
Considering how much stuff is used by the government that's commercially available later, this might prove a bit interesting...my parents already go crazy with those Swiffer things....
This means more launchs with Russian rockets, which means more stuff, hopefully, going into space. More stuff? Shouldn't we at least get all the dead monkeys in metal spheres out of the way before everyone starts launching their sat's and orbiting q3 arena servers?
yeah, the cost of recalling all the discs, maybe even the consoles themselves is probably minuscule compared to what might happen if they get sued by every major dvd manufacturer out there.

Anyone know of less-corrupt free e-mail providers who offer POP access? Any excuse to keep me from setting up my own mail server?
This just in! Encryption not perfect!
(gasp)
It's about time we started monitoring those cats. They've been doing it to us for too long....
Let's hope the thing doesn't overheat....
crispy.
Where can I get a wife that will go dumpster-diving for computer hardware with me?
Do tell.
