I would be all for that if that was the case, but its not. For example lets say Target has a 52" TV on sale for $200 at the Store according to the local Ad, but when you get there they say that the ad is wrong and that the actual price is $2000. The same way as no one would buy the same TV for $20,000, and Target would correct it. Now you can try to sue all you want, but Target is not going to sell you that TV, mistakes happen on prices.
While I have not seen a phone with two sim slots, I have seen addons for some phones that will let you use two sim cards and you just have to turn off the phone and back on to use the other card. kinda nifty if I had a use for something like that.
well in the states we have what is called a social security number, but due to people stealing social security number, we do not give it out without good reason. If some site asked me for my social security number, I most likely would not give it out and go somewhere else, most likely some site in europe which doesn't have crazy laws that protect people from themselves.
Bill Gates owns Corbis, not Microsoft. this is moot point and Microsoft could decide to buy them but its still a completely different company with a board of its own.
while you could you water cooling, it would mean you would have to probally need 1U for the radiator for it. What would probally work better would be fans for the processors, and the controller and then an enclosed Rack with cold air blowing in to the entire Rack.
yeah but then you have to clean the bacteria, with the nanos you could just program them to put themselves in the toilet when they are full. and then all you would need to do is flush the toilet.
as someone who is moving right now, all is true. I swear they make those chemicals to kill someone, yet you still have to scrub, if nothing else someone needs to create a nano robot who enjoys the stuff found in bathrooms and then just let them loose, but I can't see anything enjoying the stuff found in bathrooms. kitchens maybe but not the bathroom.
and before then they used similar phrasing on the G4, besides while the OS is ready, nothing else is, even apple doesn't have a version of Final Cut Pro, etc for the intel machines. It will be a good six months before we start seeing intel versions of Photoshop, or Avid, etc. until then the G5 is still better than the intel machines.
yeah, but not too many cards have dual-link dvi and even fewer have 2 dual-link dvi connections. The only card off the top of my head that does in the Quadro FX 5400 - 512MB. I am sure there are others that probally cost a little less, but I wouldn't expect to see a lot of them.
1. the console is just one part, they know that people will buy games and then they wil make up money 2. VS 2005 Express is rather limited, and if I had to guess they are using it to get people interested in the other versions of Visual Studio. 3. Due to the fact that WMP10 supports newer codecs/DRM, which will most likely cause online music stores to purchase new licenses in order to use the new codecs and the new DRM 4. because it was free before it was owned by Microsoft, plus Microsoft hopes to sell more products by giving something away "free"
more like every application on windows. people seem to make there own design for applications, there is no standard, of if there is no one cares to follow it. (Apple included)
But Mike Rowe knew that Mike Rowe soft sounds like Microsoft. He knew this before he even created the website. He could have called it Mike Rowe software and wouldn't have had issue, but he thought he would be cute and named it mikerowesoft.
Have you used Windows Media player for OS X ? Its one of the worst designed programs out there, doesn't follow common [de-facto] keyboard shortcuts (i.e. command-F for full screen), and doesn't really feel (or look) like any other mac application. In fact all of Microsoft's products for the mac look out of place.
That depends, if I saw god as a 6 foot tall killer bunny rabbit I wouldn't want to believe in this god. But then again the nice thing about this world is that there are lots of gods to pick and choose from. This actually one of the reasons of why I enjoy the mythos of Hinduism compared to Christianity, Islam, or Judaism. One is free to pick a god of your own liking, compared to others which say "This is god, this is what god stands for, etc, etc". (yes I know that there is more to Hinduism than this, but one could write a thousand page book on one aspect of Hinduism and still not have everything covered)
I would have to disagree, its not birth being the leading cause of death, its breathing. So I say we ban Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Argon and all our problems are solved.
sure, with different parts handled by different people, etc. and that is perfectly fine for your average geek, but for 95% of the people they would rather than one vender handle both the software aspect and hardware aspect, and well they want there system to look pretty.
why not compare it to a Gateway Profile 5.5 since it would be the closest thing to an iMac? and btw the Profile would be about $600 more when you modify the specs to match the iMac. Even the base price is more, and thats coming with 256MB of memory, a 24x cdrom, and a 40GB hard drive. So one could even say Macs are cheaper than PCs. About the only thing Apple doesn't make is all the value end systems ($400 or less), but honestly the manufactures can't be making a lot of money off those systems when you add in support costs, RMA's, parts, software, etc.
alright, go find me a system that will match the quad core Powermac G5 that has usb, firewire 800, and pci express. The best I could do was from dell (Dell Precision 670 MT64) and costs $1200 more with 1GB of memory, and mac still has a better video card, and comes with firewire while the dell does not.

I'm thinking they mean the cost of one dvd being 10 - 20 cents

went ahead and created a stub for it

I would imagine that it would use the same LCD panel as apple's, but someone will confirm or deny that sooner or later.

They might have been looking for an individual but a corporation is still a person to the law.

no company does something for absolutly free.
That is for cd/dvd burning not for anything else.

You won't need to light it, in fact you won't need to do a lot of things anymore. Things will just sorta happen on their own.

or better yet... Only a handful of video cards support dual DVI, which is required to drive the 30".
