The obvious one is Redhat. RHEL 3 is the newest version to still use a 2.4 kernel. It may still be supportes, but that expires October of this year, so the OP should already be getting ready to upgrade.
I am not a home schooler, and I never have been, but I am in a [public] school and can tell you what we kids think. We've had a lot of kids transfer from home to public schools, and they get along fine, beyond the normal "I don't know anyone" of new students. Now, you couldn't tell that they were home schooled at all, unless you asked them.
However, there is one home schooler that we know from scouts, etc. (he's my neighbor). He is the stereotype. He's 14, but still doesn't know a lot of social things, mainly how to detect immoral people and immoral activities. He's a very vocal Christian. His family has 7 kids (6 daughters younger than him) and homeschools because they can't afford private school. 90% of cases work well, but people like this is why there are sterotypes.
Man, this post got long.
Obviously, if you try an OS within 2-3 days after release, there's going to be somebody with problems. There are tons of people who it works fine, so they didn't bother to post anywhere.
For me, the upgrade worked perfectly, and now my sound card works.
But let me ask you: where would you place The Center, if not Here?
Where the centre of the mass is. And this is definitely not here.
[Devil's Advocate]Can you prove that it's definitely not here?[/Devil's Advocate]
And actually, I'll need to do: pacman -Qs
He says for programs you don't have yet. You want pacman -Ss
If I ever found such a "feature" on my bank's website, they would find THEIR accounts drained and closed VERY quickly.

You still have logs at the sites you visited. Better get them too, just in case.
So, the fact that's it's illegal to active-jam cell phones just doesn't matter to you?
Just ban cell phones. Nobody will know that you're using an active jammer.
The real question is why hexes weren't in use all along.
Could you have program an effective hex-based map (taxes, military, etc.) for the computers in 1991?
Can you give us an example?

I'm pretty sure software THEFT didn't cost any money. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT may have, though.

Not SSH, but from a remote windows machine authenticated with admin rights on the target machine run
shutdown -s -f -m \\KidsComputer -t 60 -c "Time for bed kids"
That will shut the computer down in 60 seconds with the message of "Time for bed kids" with the forced shutdown of unresponsive programs. See: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/shutdown.mspx?mfr=true for documentation. Aaron Z
