    Nuclear weapons "evidence" was clearly B.S., however he is known to have chemical and biological weapons. He stated not to have nuclear weapons, but beat around the bush on the chem and bio weapons, and played a pseudo-shell game with inspectors, largely to keep up appearances with his neighbors. I am by no means a supporter of the Iraq war. I've lost enough friends to it not to have any romantic notions that we went in for the "right reasons" when the war was sold to us. However, it's not as if Saddam was a nice guy who was open about his intentions and gave full, un-fettered access to inspectors and/or journalists to prove he didn't have any weapons or weapons programs.

    Yep and you'd give some crazy redneck that lives in another state the permission to search your house and land for illegal automatic weapons if he accused you of having them wouldn't you

    Then as many have said its the same as setting a bomb off at a crowded mall, train terminal, or even a state fair. Unless they make you go through the same routine to go to those places we need to go back to pre-9/11 security plus the locked cabin door.

    No but I'm quite sure being the reason why every year Americans loose more an more of their freedoms (which we love to brag about) would be considered a won battle. Maybe not winning the war but its still a victory.

    I don't think anyone threatening with a bomb would have much of a chance today. Either you use the bomb or get destroyed by the rest of the passengers. People are not going to just sit around and do what you say anymore. They know what there fate will be if they listen and know that even though fighting back could end up with them dead its not set in stone like it is with doing as your told.

    Hey Microsoft doesn't/didn't have monopoly either if you don't like how they do things get Linux hell that's even free or if your one of the people that compare value with cost get something made by Apple.

    Second, that land didn't originally belong to Mexico. Nor did the land in Southern California, Arizona, or New Mexico. Mexico invaded those lands and conquered the local Indian tribes to get it.

    Umm isn't that how we got all of the territories in north and south America? I seem to remember a big thing in the US called the Trail of Tears.
