No time - yes, but they agree on such conditions, because they want to earn most money in shortest possible time.
Lot of people from Eastern Europe migrate to U.K. for few years - to work in farms, and guess what - they accept bad living conditions, 12 hour working days, etc in order to earn up to 10 times more than they can make here for similar job. Effectively they are working less qualified job, but earning more and saving the money or helping their families.
can wreck the windshield and probably the worst thing is that ash and jet engines don't get along.
I'm not sure what's worse for pilots - broken windshield when they are facing huge blow of wind or no engines.. without engines you can at least sit in the cockpit.
The reason it's getting so much attention is that there are many many flight paths that go near Iceland as it provides a shorter path between the two continents.
Actually everything around Baltic sea is currently no-flight zone. You can check out http://www.flightradar24.com/ to see that there's only single plane over northern part of Europe.
If it was a repository (or some of that password fits as root for repository server), attackers could have updated some code and masked the logs, so if nobody would notice by diffing local version to repository - we could have a surprise trojan in next version of some Apache product.
That's a good option.
Or create "randomsearch.org" which would redirect to random search engine each time, thus giving users option to feel different engines and later choose one.
What democracy? Has there ever been Democracy since ancient Rome? I don't believe so. If it would be democracy, it probably would be possible to change something. Hell, I would vote for some exact measures.
I pay my bills online, and it's always pain in the ass to even take out my wallet, find my code-card, find the corresponding number. I would never boot another OS for that. Just don't keep all your money at the same place.. well maximum you can loose is half month salary which you're probably going to get back from bank.
Oh really? And university students should have no prior knowledge to programming? We have full universities of such students, they get degree and go working for some brainless company doing minor tasks.. Or they could continue study until they are 40, then they will probably be able to code.
I started at 12, and BASIC gave me some idea of how computer is actually working. Probably it's time for new languages, but You just can't learn programming at college in few years. You have to grow up with that.
Huh? If the fuel line is closed, the car is not going to get zero liters per 100 km, because it's not going to get 100 km. It will get 0/0 l/100km, which is undefined.
Hehe, undefined amount of fuel per 100km.. that's just great.. it actually describes every car, who needs more details anyway:D
Using non-SI units is kind of annoying. As for measuring, if fuel engines would approach 99% efficency, we Europeans would have to write fuel usage as 0.000x Liters/100km, which would be uncomfortable. In this aspect we would still use x000km/l which would be more comfortable in usage. I'll just go on and try to quote kilometers per liter when I'll sell my car.. somebody has to start:D
As for article - they basically just invented diesel engine that can run on petrol. I wonder what would happen if You pour actual diesel fuel in it..
Funny that download triggered some errors. He's been downloading for several months, increasing parallel requests, and in several months IT stuff started to notice errors on missing documents (as probably they have some blanks).. So, it took a month for this report to get to actual developers who then realized it's a security breach (No way IT stuff could realize that:P).
Our local media is full of news regarding Gov't Tax office, it has been hacked by just incrementing id's in URL (without any authorization), so total of 7 million declarations have been downloaded. Attacker is publishing downloaded data on Goverment owned institutions, revealing income of most-paid employees.

I hope that soon somebody will start using horizontally split display.. so you can use it in small mode (full sized keyboard + keyboard sized display) or extend second display on top to get two keyboard sized displays.
but hell, yes, i use Insert/Delete block all the time, and I really hate that all top-grade keyboards have it messed up..
There are plenty of downsides to this approach, but my anecdotal evidence tells me that this would cut down on public health-care costs, because everyone I know that has no health insurance is a heavy smoker and/or drinker. One thing would have to go - either their consumption (well, it'd be harder to purchase, but not harder to consume), or their dependence on the public assistance - both of which would likely lower taxpayer costs.
Well, when buying alcohol and cigarettes you're already paying additional tax that's supposed to go to healthcare system.. so if you smoke and drink more - you should get better healthcare.
When I'll get a cancer I should be able to go to government healthcare and show them 2000 packs of cigarettes, saying that I already paid 5000$ in taxes (tax is actually most part of the price) and demanding cure for that price.. actually it should be even more because not every smoker gets cancer, so it's like insurance..
23000*15/365 = 945
divide that by cigarettes per day, and you got smoking years until cancer..
so for me, that's 945/10 cigarettes per day = 94 years.. i'm already smoking 10, so 84 years until mutation.. not bad:D

1/16 of current "Library of Congress archived web" or half of it's printed-archive-plaintext size.
Although I wonder if they are going to print it out, thus increasing size of it's printed size and making this comment totally redundant and useless.

Actually anyone having recent local copy of source code before attack could check diff, and watch for strange changes.
The question is if there were any repositories hosted on this server, or stolen admin password could have been used to access repositories.
If it was a repository (or some of that password fits as root for repository server), attackers could have updated some code and masked the logs, so if nobody would notice by diffing local version to repository - we could have a surprise trojan in next version of some Apache product.

I'll never see complete IPv6, as I live in IPv4 world..
