    It's a difference in target markets. The "bookmarks" metaphor is to give the user who is used to reading dead tree books and using bookmarks to hold his place in said books a recognizable term to marking a "place" on the Internet. "Favorites" is the metaphor for those who are expected to NOT have ever used a bookmark.

    If you are making more than you need, and more than you are used to in a "shorter than normal" work week, perhaps you should go to the pool or something. It sounds like you are working to get money so you can HAVE money, not so that you can attain any other goal in life but to get more money.

    Perhaps your motivation problem is that you seem to have no goals outside of the numbers on your bank accounts.

    Got my retail costs from CDW. Looking at what we paid in the Open Business plan this year (no bundled CALs), $652 and $2117, which is a slightly better ratio.

    The smallest retail you can buy:
    Windows 2003 Standard w/5 CALs - ~$930
    Windows 2003 Enterprise w/25 CALs - ~$3,570

    About 3.8 times the cost straight up. The volume programs stay pretty close to that ratio.

    The benefit here is that you get 5 Windows 2003 instances for less than the cost of 4 standard OS licenses.
