I replied to similar comments earlier. Its a layer of security, it cant hurt.

If you'll note I specifically said "It by no means is a great or even good security practice"

That layer may help keep a script kiddie off. Will it keep off someone determined? No, it will not. The more layers in your security the better though.

It really isnt that hard to memorize a good password... come up with a phrase or saying your likely to remember. For our religious friends a bible verse would work well. Then use the first letter of every word, salt it with something meaningful, and you have a password.

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

now lets say your favorite number is 25

    nitt2fagm5tctt.aotc

I added a . in there so its easy to remember that every 4 letters something has to be added.

Now you have a 19 character password that is memorable and secure. Even better if you mix up the case in that password too.

While you are correct that it isn't failsafe, doesn't negate the fact that good security is layered. Any roadblock you can put up, that doesn't cause you too many problems, is a good roadblock.

Will it stop the attacker? Maybe, Maybe not. It really depends how much the attacker actually knows, and how much hes relying on uB3r l33T WEP crack scripts.

I agree with you 100% percent. I grew up with two brothers, playing split screen games. I also remember playing Halo in a room with 3 xboxs, three TVs, and 10 people playing the game. It was awesome.

Nowadays, I have to own a console, tv, and copy of the game for everyone who wants to play. Its frigging ridiculous. Its like the game manufacturers took it away thinking, they will find plenty of people online to play with. Well Id rather play with my friends and family together. I dont want to play against the 12 year old on the other end.

According to Cisco, Level 3 switches are basically routers that switch based on Layer 3 information , the basic difference being processing speed and/or the way they do the switching; Level 3 switches use ASICs/hardware instead of the CPU/software that a router would."
