    No, the RAM cleared on shutdown. On reboot the RAM always had power, so it didn't reset.

    Put your OS and programs on there*, and your computer will run almost as fast as it should...

    *The old Macs didn't clear the RAM on reboot, so you could install your system folder there.

    Sorry, you're taking the theatrics too seriously. This is a very obvious PR sham. It's been done many times before. "Sometimes the magic works, sometimes it doesn't"

    People vote on promises and bullshit. If they judged politicians on their actual voting record, reelection rates would be closer to 20% instead of 95%.

    If you aren't paying for it but you are still using it then you are pirating the software.

    Pretty hard to 'pirate' cloud based software. If you're 'pirating' Adobe, you're using an old version.

    It's not too powerful for its own good, it's too popular. Without a demand for alternatives, there won't won't be any.

    I second the comments on Davinci, and it renders beautifully.

    They are not incompetent, they are corrupt, crooked, criminal, with full intent to rob, steal, cheat. Wells Fargo has proven to be one of the worse, yet here they are, making more money than ever The whole business is mafia.

    *sigh* Normally I would consider the question rhetorical. Just look at the number of hits it generates. Does anybody expect better these days? The data says, *NO*, in big bold letters and dollars.

    Fortunately, Slashdot allows us to ignore these stories and scroll down to something more suitable.

    If you want truly factual information, you will only find that in the service manual.

    All of mass media is "right wing". That's where the money is. The news is directed by advertisers, not politics, beyond that of the advertisers, of course.
