No it is easy to build rocket engines, dealing with all of the retarded govt regulations is hard.
I have what I think is a innovative design for a new engine but I cannot try it. It requires aluminum powder and you have to sell your soul to the govt and jump through a thousand hoops just to get something simple like aluminum powder. If I even attempted to build a test engine the damn feds would probably be all over me accusing me of attempted terrorism.

Actually I think you are full of crap. Your little article only spreads the same FUD that I always hear but you offer absolutely no technical explanation as to how this mythical linux virus problem is going to occur.
Sort of like the one that I seen yesterday that says that linux cannot scale as good as unix. Nevermind it currently holds the TPC-C record. As for security does Windows have the flexibility to run port knocking? Can I modify all of the port settings for all of the services in Windows?
One of the biggest strenghts in linux is it's flexibility. Windoze lacks the flexibility required to create a diverse environment.
I hereby declare that Windows security is not as good as Linux.
No actually I think quite the opposite is true. I don't believe that./ folks condone copyright theft at all. Personally I would dime out somebody to the BSA in a heartbeat if I thought they where illegally copying windows or any other commercial software. Copyright theft hurts both Open Source software adoption rates and it hurts corporate profits. If yo wish to run something other than open source software then I am cool with that but I insist that you purchase it at the full price.
RedHat not for the SMB market

We want to make sure that we do focus on the SMB (small/medium business) market.
I have a Red Hat certification but I am unable to install it anywhere. I get install jobs because of the price and they priced themselves completely out of the SMB market.
When I bid a job against the local MS junk pushers I under cut them typically by as much as one tenth the cost. Red Hat is way to costly in this cut throat environment to compete with small business server so I don't even consider it.
Man I have bought a bunch of these boxes. I normally buy the cheap 200 dollar not loaded model and throw fedora core on them and give them to our customers. In the two years now of running them I only had one that had the power supply give up the smoke. For non power users that just want to surf the web and do a occasional spread sheet the box is more than fast enough.
Do you honestly think we give a damn if you desire to give the key to your data to Microsoft. Once you create a document in word you just handed Microsoft the only key. Have fun you are the one that will have to deal with the forced upgrades and the un budgeted price increases.
Nobody gives a rats ass if you use open office or not. I don't like giving Microsoft the only key to my data. If you feel you need to buy or pirate MS office then by all means use MS office. If you do not like the way it handles a multi user environment then you fix it.
I had someone I knew that asked me to take a look at his redhat box over at EV1. I told him I would as soon as it is at a different provider. There is not a single EV1 customer getting anything out of me.
All I hear out of this guy is a bunch of hot air. If he was such a good guy he would not be involved in any Microsoft Fun Reports. He also would not have been touring the country with his lips attached to the ass of SCO's CEO .
I am a sysadmin at a company that will probably be buying their preloaded linux systems. Now you asked a interesting question but there is a easy answer. If I buy the box preloaded I am sure the hardware is compatible with linux. Besides we just make a single line entry to the inittab and it becomes a thin client. This way I don't even have to bother loading the system with a minimum x environment, let HP do the work.
I admin nearly 500 linux thin client desktops now and I can tell you that it is more than ready. Tell the first graders that where playing frozen bubbles and potato head on one of my installations today. Tell the shop guys on the manufacturing floor that use a linux desktop every day, we had to even tell them how to use a mouse. Tell it to my family who never has to call me again with broken machine infected with spyware or virus's. Tell it to my friend who is about as smart as a fence post.
If these people can run it anyone can it just takes a professional or manufacturer to install and set it up correctly.
I admin nearly 500 machines and get perhaps at most two support calls a week. Not that my fine troll's is low TCO.
If we used something that can work reliably like the Russian capsules perhaps we would not need to worry about rudders. A rudder is for a airplane a space capsule does not need one therefore not jepordizing the safety of the crew by the use of overly complex control systems. The shuttle is a flawed design, bring back the capsules and move on with the show.
I will not be impressed until I can see the Code. I could imagine some real innovation behind that if it where to be released into the wild. Until I see the code it is about as interesting to me as the next Microsoft product release.
That piece of crapware is like playing russian roulette with all six chambers loaded. Name one other program on the internet that has caused more virus infections than outlook. If MS bundled the application with little to no security it sure seems to me both them and their software is at fault.
Sure we have been hearing that if linux was top dog it would have just as many problems. Now you and I both know, that theory is utter bullshit. Linux litterally runs the frigging internet if your theory was correct don't you thing we would have seen these massive problems you speak of. Now the idea of stopping the use of Outlook(Typhoid Mary Of the internet) sounds great to me.

We got rid of all of our windows boxes so I guess it would be easy to claim it is safer because it no longer exists.

The application is Cached and is not downloaded on the second attempt. The moderator that marked you post insightful is a idiot.
This has more to do with sequence, organization, which is copyright-protectable.
And most cars have doors, windows and 4 tires. Perhaps all of the auto companies should sue each other for making similiar items.

The thing MS is worried about now is that this is setting the stage for massive suits against them. It is going to be death by a thousand cuts.

As your school budget get's cut more and more and the money dries up to even afford school rate licenses you will become linux users.
Wow nice that is something I do once a year.
Well hell just tell them not to shut down the pc. Damn that was tough.....
