    So? Don't buy an Android device then, if you did not know that beforehand, send it back. If you just figure that out after months...well, go figure.

    You know, you're not exactly forced to use an Android device (no I won't accept corporate stuff as excuse), you can buy a simple not-so-smart-phone...or a Windows phone *snickers*.

    And yet, I'm betting that the 1995 machine boots faster than the 2012 machine...

    That depends on the OS and hardware. Linux+SSD is 4 seconds to GDM (don't you dare say something!). Though, the Windows XP on the 2TB Western Digital is also fast with around 20 seconds to Desktop...there's only Steam installed, though.

    So the author of TFA suggest to stop worrying about such things as interoperability and longevity of Federal Documents and just go with MS Office, and instead worry about the real issues...like Webbrowsers...

    Arm, it might be a little bit illegal to fly over private property if the sole purpose is to monitor said private property.

    AFAIK, they're not even armed if strapped to a plane which is flying into mission, the detonator is only placed in the bomb (and the bomb therefor armed) the moment it's going to be dropped.

    The problem with all these great 3D ideas are: In the end, that 3D-whatever-you-call-it will be mapped to a 2D-plane (known as screen). That renders many approaches useless. But, f.e., with headtracking those things become interesting, if I can peak behind windows and stuff.
