Might be yet another WebSphere snafu I was at an interview just before Christmas and some one commented that a major uk retailer had major stability problems with WebSphere
But all the Canadians who work in Hollywood north aka Vancouver love it - Must piss of the Welsh though as they dont get a government subsidy for Dr Who though.
Um for high end pro's that need/want compute power locally and not at the whim of AWS and whatever latency and bottleneck your WAN link adds - Video,Film and Audio production was where high end macs used to shine
At what cost human and materiel with the gunships roaming at will dropping a 105mm on anything that looked like a truck - the VC didn't have much success in a fight it was only after the "peace" treaty and the NVA invading in a more traditional manner.
Who cares about how loud a workstation is it would be like complaining that an old school class B rally car from Audi isn't as quit as a leaf electric car.
And I bet with a decent dual 120mm radiator in the roof of a decent case you could get it quite enough for the office.
Yeah my first job (at a world leading organization) was on the Campus at Cranfield University the university that looked down on Oxbridge Harvard etc as you could do a first degree there (BSC/BA) - Cranfield at the time only did Masters and Phd's. The boss of my company was the head of the mechanical engineers and the chancellor of Cranfield was the head of the Civil engineers.

ok so France and Germany kick Italy out of the euro or the EU cuts Italys CAP (farm subsidy) budget by 20% - cutting infrastructure support for the poor bits of italy woudl be another leaver.
the new mac pro and their peripherals is not going to fit very well into a flight case is it - which is what crews on location will be using. Oops the Grip just knocked over the table with the macs and all the peripherals.
Id have to look up verity stobbs analysis but at one point Lisbeth says this mac (naming a particular MB) was the hottest thing in graphics when in fact that particular MB was a dog and well know as such.

And the Chinese army is much more about internal control than being able to project force 2000km away
um kids stuff realy high end support means onsite engineers 24/7 and enough on site parts to build a replacement system from scratch

People in italy are supposed to be able to buy stuff from any eu country without discriminatory taxes favoring incumbents.

You know that pro glass is 20-25 a pop yes a RED makes some things cheaper but you still need a pro crew to make a professional product
