    Its not hard to install node.js on linux from a standing start I installed it and taught my self node.js and built a basic application that was used for a year by my employer a global 500 Company in a couple of days - cant all developers do this?

    To be honest if you cant work out on your own how to admin a Linux box and install common applications then maybe programming is not for you.

    In the case of emergency CASE NIGHTMARE GREEN and so on telcos can dump normal subs so that the emergency services can use the network and also disables any mobile phone based bombs.I woudl not be surprised if this was done in Boston.

    wouldn't have called x121, x.25, x.400 and x.500 software defined networking - in the sense Vint is using it here.

  18. I've just applied for a patent on a device I call a "fuse". You can put arrays of them in a thing I call a "fuse box". They prevent too much current from passing along a wire.

    Would not getting a belt of a 415 V line likely to discourage individuals and possibly induce auto dawination. Fast charge stations might well be pushing a lot more volts and amps than 415.

    In many third world countries people die (if they are lucky quickly) when they try and tap into the power system quiet regularly.

    I am not disagreeing I was branch secretary and area secretary for the largest M&P union in the EU. just pointing out that the free agent model that trade unions like BECTU and Equity/SAG have isn't perfect and might not be the best fit for Programmers.

And David Hewlet for Villa. Thinking about it Connor Trinneer woudl make a good Travis though its a bit close to his SGA role.
