    I am with the AC, literally 3 seconds of time. That amount of time would not make any difference in this situation.

    How long before the liability lawsuit against "assistant" app makers / service providers for incorrectly calling an Uber instead of an ambulance...

  3. This doesn't even sound similar to Continuum.

    Continuum is about universal apps and making a seamless Windows (10) experience.

    This sounds more like what Motorola did with the Atrix where there are 2 completely different operating systems on the same device.

    I use RoboForm and it runs on all major platforms including Windows Mobile, iOS, Android, Windows and MAC as well as all major web browsers.

    No need to load anything on your company computer. Just use your phone to view the password and type it in.

    you will only have to buy 1 copy of a game. That is pretty appealing.

    I bought Diablo 4 on my girlfriend's console at one point but she got sick of me playing it all the time so I had to buy the PC version to play on my computer (which sucks BTW, the console version is much easier to use).

    I think it makes perfect sense. There are probably a significant number of mailboxes surrounded by high grass and since the carrier is going door-to-door anyway...

    It just seems efficient. No need to pay two different services and waste a bunch of fuel...

    We have a real issue in our neighborhood with people who love to accelerate hard in order to make as much noise as possible.

    I always make sure to take my full lane allotment when riding my bicycle around the neighborhood. It really does help cut down the noise.

    Sounds like you are doing a pretty good job of wrecking you car all by yourself.

    Speed bumps don't wreck a car if you drive slowly over it but accelerating and braking hard will definitely put undue wear and tear on your car.

    Apparently there are noise laws too but it seems to be an American past time to gun the throttle as much as possible when traveling down residential roads.

    That's the main issue I have with people coming through residential roads... the utter lack of respect. I mean, just think for a minute how you would like it if people with "modified" exhaust systems floored the gas pedal in front of your house all day long...

    Something tells me that the cat is out of the bag on adblocking.

    Even if advertisers tone things down, people will likely still block ads because they can.

    Right now, we have good justification for blocking ads. But even if things change and advertisers go back to text or static images, people will find some other justification for running their ad blockers.

    I have sold a few things on ebay since 1999 and by few I mean 3 or 4... and out of those I had a buyer claim that the item was broken (despite the fact that the item was brand new in a factory sealed and unopened box).

    I decided that it was too much hassle to deal with negative reviews and all that jazz and have not sold anything since. Everything used and unneeded goes straight into the landfill now...

    Cheaper, maybe... but almost certainly more diluted as creative control and vision is coopted/usurped.

    This is exactly how I feel too.

    I had the opportunity the other day to use a ride service and I chose to use a traditional taxi because I couldn't stand the idea of using Uber/Lyft

    Perhaps we shouldn't be so complacent and just allow companies to be like this... because our apathy just enables them to be like this...

    He could, you know... not have developed that app that you apparently find useful.

    If I had 30% of my revenue disappear and the only way of getting it back was to go back to a less secure system... well, I would probably do the same thing that he did.

    At the end of the day though, there are other password manager apps out there.
