    Isn't a statute such as this unconstitutional given states do not have permission to regulate interstate trade. Coursera is not opperating in Minnesota. Instead residents are trading with Coursera over the Internet. It is the same in theory as them taking courses through mail.

    At the end of the day Google has to serve its customers searching on Google. If customers complain about sites with too many ads then Google must downrank those sites. If customers complain about "low quality" websites ranking too high then Google must attempt to determine the quality of sites. If they were a monopoly they could just leave things alone and not worry about it. There are lots of users who want Google to improve its search results.

    You can't stick non-Google ads on their services...

    I have no idea what the above statement means. You can buy ad space on google search. You can also buy ad space on google adsense. Google will let microsoft, facebook and yahoo buy ad space on these services. For example search for microsoft. Microsoft has an ad showing up in google search.

    None of what you said has anything to do with anti trust. Bad service is not an anti trust violation. Not having good search results is also not a anti trust violation. It is only an anti trust violation if they are pushing their own sports website. Users have an interest in cutting out the middle man. When I'm searching for something I don't want to click through three blogs to get to Amazon. Just point me at Amazon.

    Fair use allows google to show a MapQuest link in its search results. But to actually show a map Google would have to licence map data from MapQuest. Copyright law prevents Google from using other peoples data the same as they use their own. Google can only show a snipit or a summary. The same goes for other types of data. Google can't include good twitter or facebook integration without a license or an api.

    It seems an anti trust case would be clear cut. Look at the algorithms. If the algorithms are creating a horizontal monopoly by intentionally hiding the compitition in search results then Google is guilty. If the algorithms just show the links that people click on the most then Google is innocent.

    Sending a check for $0.30 to $1.32 is stupid. It would just be a subsidy for the post office if they did that. They will send you a check if you ask for one.

    As a customer I hate daily updates to my applications. Unless the application is in Alpha or Beta it is very disconcerting to see updates at that frequency. I only want to see an update that quick when something is really broken. If brokeness is a daily occurence then maybe you need to slow down.

    Living cells do not last 40 years. Even bone cells are typically replaced every 17 years. Plus a living cell could have mechanism to repair broken bonds in its DNA that a dead cell does not.

    Shouldn't this be testable. There are plenty of corpses from 521 hundred years ago. Get DNA from something 521 years old. Check how many bonds are broken.

    Costco likely purchsed the drives when they were available in bulk at low prices prior to the shortage. The clowd providers were buying drives as needed. Keeping inventory low.

    This case is about copyright law. Lumber and steel does not apply. Unless they start stamping the lumber with images that are copyrighted. US law allows the copyright holder the exclusive right to controll imports into a country.

    He wasn't arrested for parole violations. He was arrested for embarrassing the state. The alleged violations are just the excuse they happen to be using. If they didn't have that, we would be hearing some BS about child porn on his computer instead.

    He is being sued by one of the actresses in the movie. He lied to the cast and used a fake when producing the movie. Using fake names is a violation of his parole. The condition exists because he used a fake name in bank fraud in the past. Not really selective prosecution when a victem is pushing for it.

    Unpopular speach is not yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater. A crowd that exits a theater quickly is behaving rationally based on deception. There is no choice to stay in the burning theater. The people who rioted in the middle east did so because they chose too. The did so because they were encouraged to riot by their leaders. Billions of people chose to do nothing when they learned of his video.

    I can't imagine that the people who believe killing animals is unethical will be happy with harvesting skin and muscle from a bioengineered cow monster. Both of these are icky. If your trying to avoid ickyness then this is not the product for you.
