Was that down by where Sports Basement is now? (I was under the assumption that SB is in the building where Frys originally was.) I remember walking into Weird Stuff the first time and seeing the row of old networking equipment and just being giddy.

Didn't hurt anyone, huh? I wanted to hurt myself very badly trying to figure out why TZMOVE.EXE and TZMOVE.MSI didn't agree with any of my exchange servers, all while fighting off the EVP's and CEO's wondering why their meetings are out of whack. So yeah, it hurt a lot.

except the xbla has quite a few original games, where the VC are just doing a COPY C:\roms\kidicarus.nes D:\VC\NES\ROMS and charging money. Granted some are shitty ports (I'm looking at you Namco.) but overall there's some pretty neat stuff. I hope Nintendo kicks it up a notch and puts some original content on there. :(

Personally I like to see these kinds of articles. That was one of the main draws to Slashdot for me over the past years. I enjoyed visiting the site for news, but what I really liked was the personal interaction on the site. 'Hemos Gets Hitched' and the marriage proposal are some of the greatest memories I have of the Slashdot.

On another off topic related note: I miss Geeks in Space. It was something I really enjoyed listening to -- "podcasting" two years before the iPod was introduced. Self written articles and opinions add sugar (or splenda if that's your thing) to the top of the doughnut. Good websites need that personal touch in my opinion.

My 2 cents on the name change: I can understand both sides but as long as the name isn't offensive in any way I don't know why they'd really enforce something like that. I've played Final Fantasy XI since November of 2003 and have only seen two people forced to change their names personally: Teebaggins and Littleshyte. Obvious reasons for that. Although I guess I wouldn't mind if they did some name cleaning to remove the Cloudxxx, Clouddd, Sephitorth, Sephroth, Squallxx, and my personal favorite: Starcraftsquall.

What was the conclusion in your paper? Was there a predominant M-B type in your class? Anybody else out there want to throw out their M-B type that works in IT/Sys-Net Admin? I am INFP

The paper mostly consisted of a few basic things, such as a formal definition of the MBPI, how it's used in career paths, team projects, and elaborating more on your own personality type.

BTW, I'm a INFP also! Infact, probably a lot of us here on Slashdot are INFP's. A lot of mathematics, scientists, etc usually have this personality type. I believe it also makes up 1% of the population according to the results.
