  3. Sorry it's not the most simple on Anti-Smartphone Phone Launched For Technophobes · · Score: 1

There are cell phones for kids that only have 3 or 4 buttons which are programmed for speed dial or 911. No ability to arbitrarily dial any number. i.e. They can only dial their parents.

  4. Citizens Arrest on US Marshals Saved 35,000 Full Body Scans · · Score: 1

Every citizen has the right to do a citizens arrest. Once they touch your junk all you have to do is notify them you are arresting them and any "real" law enforcement officer must take them into custody. It's the law. However I'm very certain this will never happen.

  5. Re:That's nothing on US Marshals Saved 35,000 Full Body Scans · · Score: 1

Are they allowed to scan minors? If so how does this not fall under child pornography or child molesting? And how can a parent be forced to submit their child to: A) Nude pictures being taken of them. B) Being molested without the option of just leaving the airport. I have an 11 y/o daughter and I should allow someone to take nude pictures and/or molest her? That's fucking insane. Side note. My sister in law worked for TSA for a couple years. She's one of the biggest dumbasses on the planet.

  7. Show up Naked is the Only Way on TSA Bans Toner and Ink Cartridges On Planes · · Score: 1

Jesus!!! TSA is so knee-jerk (or just jerks but that's a different rant). Every time a bomber uses something they either ban it or you have to remove it (shoes). I hope they never add the explosives to the fabric of underwear. That's going to be fun.

  11. Think in the context of small children on Police Publish 'An Introduction To PEDO BEAR' · · Score: 1, Interesting

Yes, we all get the joke and I agree it's funny/harmless in an all adult context. However children have not developed those skills. I'm sure Pedobear at Comiccon had no intention of molesting children but it exactly personifies the problem. No matter how funny/harmless it is, or how much we as adults get the joke, it's not appropriate to hand out candy to small children and reinforce the notion that it's ok for them to accept gifts from friendly looking people. Small children are not going to get the joke no matter how much we might.

Sure I can forget them but they are not that critical so I don't need a key on me that I only use once a month or once a year.

Back in the day I worked at larger internet search company that will remain nameless. There was one engineer who's main job was to keep porn out of the search engine. Anybody want to guess who's porn site was the #1 result. Right, his porn site was hard-coded. Of course I was completely clueless because I'm that heads-down hard worker, but one day I was called to the VP of HR's office. I had to ride one of the company bicycles across campus and when I got there I was greeted by HR, several lawyers and porn-king's Ultra 5. Being the senior sys admin I got to enjoy searching for porn on his system with all these people watching over my shoulder. I found it too. What a glorious day.
