  1. Military robot? I would buy Dash, robotic roach on The Best Robots of 2009 · · Score: 1

The cockroach robot “dash” is so much better suited for military deployment than the “mini tractor” trat irobot made. And it being made cheaply out of cardboard (and folded flat) means you can afford to release 1000’s of them, and, basically don’t need any human troops on the ground.

    From http://www.gnu.org/:

“Free software” is a matter of liberty, not price. To understand the concept, you should think of “free” as in “free speech”, not as in “free beer”.

Ask the software creator what is his suggested price is, and mark it as "payment for software", not as "donation" in the books. It's that simple.

Israel has to do these things because they are constantly in the state of war. One of their objectives is to prevent bombing of civilians. Think of Israel as a "democratic" military state.

Now they got pretty good at it, and US govt will be very quick to adapt their technologies and methods to institute a military state here, in US. They already adapting airport security, internet will follow.

Why do we need a military state? Are you kidding? That's the key to absolute power! Dictators (also presidents, kings), have been known to start wars just so they can institute stronger controls at home.

    Orange alert, anyone?

For comparison, Russia (USSR) leader refused to acknowlege that we were attacked for 3 days after the invasion begun. Border troops were not prepared, and Germans literally marched deep into USSR before encountering any significant resistance (except Leningrad). Also of interest would be the fact that Stalin had all the high command officers executed years ago. Yes, Maginot Line was a big mistake, and now the jokes are on French army, although it was the French high command's fault, not the people. ... and here is another one : http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Archive/Rec/rec.humor.funny/2007-10/msg00005.html

Down with technology! who needs it anyways? I can do quite well without frige - just go to market every day and buy fresh (live) chicken. Also, why do you drive a car in the first place? Horse and carriage do not suite your needs? (when you are not in a hurry, that is)
