It is just that we libertarians have no illusions that this country, and especially the broadcast system, operates in a free market. What comes to you through your television or computer hook-up is a government granted monopoly. In a true free market, we could have a hundred choices coming through the same wire. Its not even the draconian DRM that bothers me. Its the $60 price tag that you pay for these games. I wouldn't pay that much for a game i like, and certainly not crap like AC. The stronger the drm, the higher the price as well. A fool and his money are soon parted. like the commenter above me said, i will till i can get it for 5 bucks from steam or gog drm free. Screw companies like this that are trying to kill PC gaming anyways

Sure there is some dissent here and there, but no major free speech effort because the people dont want it. Liberty as we know it is a western concept. I dont think that of the 1.3 billion people in china, there are many who want it.
I just buy the game, and get the DLC from other sources as usual. Why waste time and effort,suing, especially the wrong people as in this case, and not just get the stuff and play it?
