Well we didn't exactly give them a lot of time to think about it, Aug 6 - 9. Think about :
A) the lack of communications in war-torn Japan
B) The fact it was the 1st nuke ever to be used in a war. We didn't know the full effects of radiation, nevermind the Japanese's understanding.
I don't think the Japanese really knew too much in what is probably less than a 48 hour window of chaos.
If they really knew I think they would have surrendered pretty quickly.

There's plenty of Americans that don't own guns and aren't big fans of arming the populace.
We just don't get the same press coverage our gun-toting brethen do or have the lobbying power of the NRA.
Obviously you get your ideas of "most" Americans from Hollywood.

My 3 year old daughter the other day said the next program 'just came on!'
My wife and I were wondering about it for a second -- my daughter was so accustomed to us playing dvr'd shows, she didn't understand live TV.
People of average or below average are never going to be engineers, doctors, lawyers, etc..
Two out of 3 are good examples.
I could have a lobotomy and still pass the bar exam (the CPA exam is a different matter). I know some very average to dumb lawyers. Hell, JFK Jr passed it though on the 6th try...
I disagree, the Supreme Court doesn't have any more Protestants. Catholics are definitely not fundamentalists. Look at Catholic schools, they teach evolution not ID. I know, I went to one. You can say what you want about the Catholic Church but they never advocated reading the Bible literally.
I'll admit, Microsoft has screwed the pooch when it comes to Mobile but I own a Zune HD and actually really like it. Have any of you Zune haters actually used them?? I don't need the Zune to do much special besides music and video, free games,WiFi and HD radio are gravy.
I actually would love to see WM7 do well since I develop in.NET but it ain't gonna happen. It would have to have REALLY great innovative features that other phones don't have to win any market share at this point. Android is the future imo, loving my Droid X, just switched from an iPhone 3GS.
Are they going to compensate married people for the marriage tax? And yes, it does exist, just do the tax return for married vs head of household+single and you'll see that HoH+Single does better.
..That's called a taking, and the ex-patent holders would be able to sue the government for the value of the patents. It would be a massive litigation and cost the tax payer an enormous amount of money.
You're obviously a lawyer and I'm guessing there is a precedence for this 'taking'. Well think outside the box, maybe A) this precedence doesn't apply or B) the precedence is crap to begin with and should be ignored. I hate how lawyers rely on precedence so much. If it's not precedence, it's a law that can be repealed.
To be honest, I don't think it's so much a court system problem but with the patent system itself and idiotic patent examiners who don't know jack about software/technology and a patent office that prefers to generate revenue as opposed to doing their job.
Hah, oh no - Netflix has a lot of adult movies, just gotta know where to look - try steamy romance for one. Once you find one, you can look link to the others with related movies. Try "Emannuelle" for one.
Or... you could have said "my father has passed away and I received a jury notice for him" and possibly skipped the snotty tone and maybe got a "I'm sorry for your loss sir, we'll update our records, thanks." It seems like you were fishing for a fight being purposely vague.
