My uni has a gigabit connection so i cannot use very much considering I am on 10mbit ehternet.. But I was using 8.5mbits consistent. The Movie Industry filed a law suit against me and I shut it down. But instead of a job they shut off my jack... Bastards
I have a great IDEA we should get like 100 people that read/. and start a internet business!! WE will make our own satilite and relay our customers info off the satelite back to our facility where we have a T3 or something!!!
If I made $1000 a month I would go without eating for fiber. I would live in a crawl space of a Sky Scraper for that.
My hometown (Rural - Hayward, MN) is an area not yet introduced to DSL or cable modems.
Actually I worked for an ISP that provided free tech support to all customers.. Not one of them in our area code.. We used VoIP technology to save thousands a month on phone bills and yes it is not the greatest quality but sure good enough to win my support.. Even more so for being such a new technology.. It has a way to go before being implemented into the mainstream market but IS the voice of the future..
www.safeproxy.org - Guranteed!!
Maybe some government officals will come to understand us Nerds now...
