for those of you in Canada check out a similar service offered here at dvdhype.com. I've been using the service for over a year now and I am very satisified with the service.
the noice from the pc is the biggest reason I decided to not use a computer in my home theatre. Even the quietest PC is not enough.... Say you PC puts out 30dB of noise. Then that mean the dynamic range of the system is 30dB less.
However, I am probably not like most people, I am very very picky. I would consider myself an audiophile; that is why I don't listen to MP3s (I think they sound horrible, even at high and variable bit rates)!
I would recommend getting a yamaha amp. I have found them to be best quality and most reliable. They range in price, but all are good quality. As far as speakers I would recommend Paradigm. They make really great speakers. The best bang for your buck I think are theier monitor series. Great sound, and not to expensive. If money Is not an option I would recommend looking at their reference series, or even Mirage Speakers. The mirage speakers have a omnipolar design which make a sound field like no other.
Hope this helps you out.
I was thinking if they stop making pinball machines they will start to be come a collectors item. They could be come very valuable and a museum might be a good way to preserve this important part of our culture. People will pay a lot for things that bring them back to thier childhood. A pinball museum would be a interesting thing to see. I know I'd pay to go to one.
I've found that ATI has had great drivers. It just takes them a while to put them out. I agree that the drivers that first ship with thier products usually are not that great. But have you take a look at thier lastest drivers for the Rage Pro? I mean they can run Quake 3 and it looks as good or better then a Voodoo1 card.
Not just the internet.
Who actually uses the crappy earphones that comes with a product? I always find I have to go out and get a better pair.
And if they don't let me use what I want; I will just take my business elsewhere.
Simple as that.

That is my guess.

Here at UNB (University of New Brunswick) in Canada our CS/a> program uses Linux for our Operating System courses. I haven't taken the second operating systems course where we actually get to muck around in the Linux kernel; but I am taking it next semester.

How exactly is Mandrake more stable then RedHat?
