And it seems to have compatibility issues. It ended up breaking custom code of mine, as well as Invision Power Board. This was compiled from scratch. Hopefully they'll quickly release a.11.
Didn't Sun just get done saying that in the future hardware would be free and that we would pay subscription fees for software? This doesn't make sense at all. Why would you open source something if you're planning on making money selling a subscription?
We've already seen how this hasn't worked all that great for RedHat; instead of using up2date people are using yum and apt-get. Something isn't right with this picture...
Anyone want to take bets on when Sun will start suing claiming linux stole its source code in violation of their psuedo GPL?
I think you're talking about the Seiko Kinetic line of watches. They are still making these, in fact I own one that's about 6 years old now. I had to get the capacitor replaced once but otherwise it's been a very reliable watch.
I also own a Citizen Eco-Drive watch which is powered by a solar cell in the face. I haven't purchased watch batteries in many many years.
Another way for getting past the firewall sometimes is from your VPN clients. If you don't filter that traffic, which most people don't, you can get infected that way as well.
All computers that need access to those records, as well as programs that access those records, have to be HIPAA compliant.
So if Microsoft were HIPAA compliant then everything would be ok right??? I bet they are....
This service pack will do nothing to make windows modular, it simply will allow the user to change the default program associated with a file extension simpler. It does not remove any MS software from Windows. The default program thing isn't anything spectacular, I'm more interested in the part that says that XP won't bug you until you sign up for passport. That right now has to be the biggest pain related to XP, the damn thing just won't go away!
Not all recovery CD make you wipe out your entire system. My shiny new dell came with a Win2k Recovery CD, but when I used it, it gave me the option to do a recovery install along with a clean install. I belive my cd will only work on my dell however.
P.S. It's not my Dell, "The Company" bought it for me, but I'm not going to complain about a P3 750!
The article isn't too clear on this point, does it affect every Best Western Hotel or just in Europe?
As someone who's stayed at one within the past 12 months in the US, I'm curious to know.
Nice job mods.

As long as there are cable boxes with svideo or RCA jacks there won't be anything stopping MythTV or MCE from recording the streams.

I'm working on a MythTV box at the moment and I came across this site: http://www.nexusuk.org/projects/mythbayes/index.ph p
It looks like they are using a bayesian filter to suggest and record similar programs. This would pretty much put MythTV on par with tivo.

Same with dialin users.

Apparently the company doesn't have email either. You'd be really hard pressed to keep someone who wants to take a file with them from not doing so.
