The grue is a sinister, lurking presence in the dark places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.
I haven't bought a Microsoft product in at least 3 years, possibly a little longer, and am quite contentedly using all of the types of devices you named.
Please enlighten me and tell me which digital camera brand does not use the FAT filesystem in its memory cards.
I mean, I got Lasik surgery done like 6 years ago (and I'm still wearing glasses, thanks for asking) and I was freaked out of my mind the whole time...
Reading about your experience makes me glad I didn't get anything more invasive

It's been a loophole in the past for shipping weapons around - ship the parts (which is legal) and the recipient assembles them. And since a part of an MP3 file is unusable without the rest, I'd think a similar defense might work here.
Wasn't there a "sampling" case where it was ruled that using a certain percentage of a song (a few seconds IIRC) were not considered to be copyright infringement?
That one is actually a piece of zirconia, but -shhh!- don't tell her!
"Will work for lattes, macs and blackberries"
9 to 5 is a myth... employers these days expect 9 to 7
Eye of the Beholder, in 3D, with combat mechanics similar to 4th edition D&D...
I would build myself a windows computer again just to play it!
What culture?

Answer my question and don't change the subject, please?
You said you were using digital cameras and mp3 players without using the FAT filesystem.
Please state brand and model of the digital camera you are using to achieve this.
I think what really happens is that now ugly people are not allowed to pass in front of a camera.
For that reason, we have a lot of pretty people in TV who are nonetheless called "ugly"

The whole point is that if MS started suing people over the VFAT filesystem you would not be able to use a digital camera, MP3 player, etc. in Linux
GPL is viral.
You say that like if it were a bad thing
It can be YOUR candle, not a problem... unless the candle in question becomes a means of production of capital.
Then it becomes THEIR candle

Thats the second time I have been freaked out of my friggin' mind
Please post a warning when you link to that story!
I concur. Chances are that this new kind of acoustic brain surgery will sooner be cheaper than a ticket to a Metallica concert.
Which is appropiate, since both have the potential to damage your brain
I know several people that fully (and vocally) agree with the "why the heck should I saddle myself with an infant" attitude you describe.
Even more sadly, some of them are my friends.
Too band I am not elocuent enough to describe the joy that being a father of two can bring.
Yes, I know that my kids eat up half my income (and probably will continue to do so for the next 20 years)
Yes, I know that my kids are the reason why I have less free time than most of my colleages
Yes, I have to get up at 4am to whack night terrors in the head with a bat, or to get a glass of water
Yes, it is all worth it
Even if they didn't get the contract, the fact that the manager avoided making a faux-pas means they get to bid for another contract in the future.
Yeah, you tell Opera's CTO that he should make his product pretend it's someone else's
Me grammar fail
The problem is that the name of a software package shouldn't influence adopters.
The sad truth of the matter is that people are idiots and software package names does make an influence.
Interesting.

Instead of Invisibility Cloak, I would call it "Earthquake Deflector Shield"
Same coolness, more accuracy
Yeah, they should have told them instead that the Rapture had come and that none of them were Chosen! ~~~~
True... So we will have to continue linking to the mythbusters episode until they shut up
(they won't, of course)
