The states have been cutting funding to higher education for years. Costs for running a university are only getting higher. Either the university cuts programs and services or raise tuition.
I am running Ubuntu 13.04 with an amd vid card. I just plugged in my monitors, then when I turned on my compy they just worked without me having to do anything.
Flash works just fine for me in Linux. In addition to that youtube will use html 5 video if flash is not installed. So either way youtube will work in Linux.
and whats with the racism? Do we need to keep calling brown dwarfs brown? They don't even look brown! They look magenta! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_dwarf
Interesting....The idea of dark matter is around because our models of the universe that are only based on what we can see don't measure up to the mass we figure the universe needs to actually have. My question to you is, how many extra brown dwarfs would we need to close that gap in mass?
According to the Brown Dwarf Wiki article
"However, for some years now there has been debate concerning what criterion to use for defining the separation between a brown dwarf and a giant planet at very low brown dwarf masses (~13 Jupiter masses).[3] One school of thought is based on formation, and another on interior physics.[3]
Dwarfs are categorized by spectral classification, with the major types being M, L, T, and Y.[3] Despite their name, most brown dwarfs would appear magenta to the human eye.[3]
Another debate is whether brown dwarfs are required to have experienced fusion at some point in their history. Some planets are known to orbit brown dwarfs: 2M1207b, MOA-2007-BLG-192Lb, and 2MASS J044144b. Brown dwarfs may have fully convective surfaces and interiors, with no chemical differentiation by depth.[4]" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_dwarf
I just looked it up.
You are kinda right...
1) The debt accrued compared to GDP shrank by 9% in Clinton's second term. Since GDP went up, the tax revenue increased and the Debt went down.
2) Under President Bush, he was running half trillion to.8 trillion dollar deficits every year. Obama was the first president to have 1 trillion dollar deficits.

Raise taxes back to 1990s levels and we would not have any problems with debt. When Clinton left office, he had a multi trillion dollar surplus in the federal budget. When Bush came into office it took his administration less than a year to turn that into multi trillion dollar deficits.
Exactly, why has the govt. been cutting tax rates and kept spending more? Why did we invade two countries, spending over 1 Billion dollars a day on just war costs AND lower taxes at the same time? How does that make any sense?
People don't seem to care. Rat poison is a terrible way to go. Glue traps are horribly cruel. The rat/mouse will starve to death. I once saw a mouse the was struggling so hard to get free from a glue trap that he broke his legs in the process. Other mouse traps snap a mouse's neck by baiting them with food. Some people get cats to kill mice and rats in their houses. Nothing like being hunted by a larger animal that can't be beat. People are willing to scream "ITS A RAT! KILL IT! KILL IT!" Only because its a rat...
China and India are both transforming their economies to be more like the west, creating a larger middle class in those countries. A larger middle class wants bigger and better housing. With China and India making up almost 4 billion people together, that is a lot of new housing, and a lot of copper that needs to go into making those houses. Supply of copper has not been able to keep up with demand. How do you expect prices of copper to stay low if the demand shoots through the roof for copper and supply does not grow accordingly?

Death from all causes is the leading causes of death for people under 55.

If you are close enough to look up and point to it and you are not friendly, you won't be around for much longer...
Very informative answer! Great work there!! Thanks!
Naw! It is a prequel! 40 years before Dorthy came to visit Oz!
So that's what they should have done in the new Wizard of Oz movie!

Dwarf planets and stars are sensitive and preferred it if you called them little planets and little stars.
We could hold a planet wide vote on the names. :D
Mod this up or edit the wiki article so Proxima Centauri is 14 light years away...

So lets raise taxes just like George Bush the first did in 1991. Right after taxes were raised we had the golden years of the 1990s.
I want to play some doom 2!

Old experiments that need to go back. Trash they did not throw out the window.... etc...

That is a good place to start, thanks! I find myself in the states LA and TX most of the time.
Ok then, do you want to make the case for me that 2.5 billion people going from poor to middle class will not use more resources, including copper?

The metal used to make a penny has to be worth more than the penny's currency value.
