    To be precise, most of the people the cops plink in the US are the sort many of the rest of us are fine with them plinking, and if they plink in error it only causes outcry if the plinkee is both innocent and has a wholesome prior track record. If they are an established dirtbag then it's an enemy casualty.

    Many Americans prefer that security in their zones be maintained by any force necessary.

    It's not "nice" and we don't give a shit.

    Sikh aren't Muslim, they are among the many groups Muslims have slaughtered and oppressed through history. Sikhs have a legacy of valiant resistance to Islam.

    The history of Jihadist conquest is worth remembering, as is that just because someone is "brown" and from a country ruled by Muslims doesn't mean they espouse that homicidal barbaric cult.

    While the West may be grumpy about losing a few thousand dead to Jihad, the countries Islamists conquered lost vastly more.

    If something belongs to ME and someone else takes it, I want them to die if necessary that I may get MY property back, and I don't care if it takes an MLRS launch on their house.

    Forcible recovery of stolen cattle has ample precedent in US history.

    You have to be ready to use them and go down fighting. If the issues in question aren't worth that yet, then do something different. If they are pussies, they lose. If they play Taliban and go down fighting, then they make a statement.

    So are the LETTERS we type in these posts, but they are STANDARD over hundreds of years which makes them effective. It would be artsy and cute to change to a different variety of calligraphy every few years, but wouldn't do much for communication.

    I don't obsess over it, but exceptionally sloppy speech is not a plus during job interviews. The purpose of speech is to communicate, and if you can only speak "trailer" or "ghetto" then I'll place you (or not) appropriately.

    It's fine to be able to SWITCH between speaking styles to suit your audience. That's different than having an accent that's a self-inflicted speech impediment.

    If I want something, I seek out advertisers. If I don't, I block 'em all.

    The US has the monstrous crime rates to justify it.

    Because Americans have nothing much in common except location, our society is loosely bonded and subject to group competition including predation.

    Not only are economic classes enemies by nature, competing cultures are enemies by nature, and nature takes its course. The US needs a police state situation in many areas to prevent anarchy. It's blashpemy to point that out, but that doesn't negate its truth.

    It shouldn't. I favor US isolationism. The world doesn't deserve any attempt by the US to "help".

    For example:
    We defeated Japan, which begat the worse Communist China. Had we left well alone, no Mao and no problem.
    We helped defeat the Nazis, which rescued the Soviets, and begat the Cold War which begat Jihadists etc.

    The world would be better off if the Japs and Nazis had won then moderated over time.

    Live Linux CDs have been very capable tools for more than a decade.

    If you wish you can even PXE boot Linux from a server and skip the media.
