Offtopic, really? I could understand being voted down, but I was talking about nokia's hardware and software strengths in an article about what Nokia needs to do to stay relevant.
I find it pathetic that you have posted 3+ times about Nokia having "bad hardware" but haven't given a single example.
It has a resistive touchscreen (with a resolution that DESTROYS the iPhone), a very nice camera (2 actually), a physical keyboard, a body that doesn't require a crag-ugly case to prevent it from self-combusting and more than 1 physical button. That's not to mention the software that is almost entirely free, of a high of a quality as most software you find in debian/ubuntu repositories, completely unlocked systems and network access as well as root being as far away as installing 1 application. Oh, did I mention that their application manager (app store if you will) has absolutely NO restrictions on what you can install, modify and remove? You can even download the dev kit for free, compile your own native (or scripted) apps and create a repository for them so that ANYONE can install them.
At this point, it sounds like you are nothing more than an uninformed troll going by the information provided by "hip" highschool students that wouldn't know optical zoom from digital.
For argument's sake let's assume the fact that the first was a boy was entirely random (the question very well may have stated girl). This throws the "elliminate 1" theory right out the window because half of the boy/girl and girl/boy mixes would have been caught by the "one is a girl" side of the question. This leaves half the mixed scenerio with all the boys scenerios, leaving once again a 50/50 shot.
Actually, it's not necessarily 50%. There are 4 equaly possible scenerios prior to the initial reveal. 2 boys, a boy and a girl, a girl and a boy, 2 girls (order matters). Because of this there is a 1/4 chance both are boys, a 1/2 chance there is one of each (because there are 2 ways to have one of each) and a 1/4 chance of both being girls. After the initial one is revealed to be a boy, that elliminates the 2 girls scenerio leaving "2 boys", "a boy then a girl", "a girl then a boy" (note, the order is the order of birth, NOT the order of relelation). This leaves a 1/3 chance the other is a girl and a 2/3 chance it's a boy.
This however depends on whether the first child being a boy was random or if they handpicked a scenerio where the first was a boy or if they handpicked a scenerio where the first COULD be a boy.
Ok, what would you rather have?
-30 people using operating systems they have been using at home for 6+ years
or
-4 people using operating systems they have been using at home for 6+ years
-23 people wondering why their blue "e" is missing
-3 people installing ubuntu on their mac-book anyways and confusing the $#@!$$ out of you
No, but using a cross-platform system (opensource, web-based, etc) allows the parents to use ANY operating system. We are not saying they should be required to use Windows computers, but that they should have a CHOICE!
Oh man, if that appeared on my machine I would immediately start logging and saving all traffic in/out of it to a non-erasable external storage. After all, we all know how good the government is at encrypting everything, right...?
So THAT's why dvd's are so much cheaper up here. I always wondered about that. For those that don't know, DVD's tend to be 3/4 the price of CD's in Canada.
The scary part is if you only ever used VLC (like a lot of people) and just stuck the disk in a ran it, you would effectively be breaking the law without even KNOWING there was a digital lock!
Actually, from what I've heard, format shifting will be legal with the new bill. But only if there are no digital locks. So I guess in practice it will be illegal...
Google did not use any kind of "pole", etc to reach this data, the data was broadcast directly at them.
To make you anology fit, the girl would be wearing no pants, transparent underwear and a short top allowing anyone to see everything with nothing but a casual glance.
FYI, the upskirt thing would fall under Sexual Harassment.
Now if only that person would add a link to the important information somewhere's near the top of page. Maybe they could even write a quick "summary" for us really lazy people.
I don't know who modded you troll, but you are 100% correct. In Canada (I'm sure USA is exactly the same), if you are standing on public property (or property you own or have been given permission to be on) then you can take any damn photograph you want.
I don't however think that photos are a good analogy. Something along the line of sound would be much better. If you are blasting your child's birthday party homevideo loud enough for your neighbours to hear it, you have NO right to sue someone on the street with a microphone!

Confused...
Yes it is perfect for the typical /. denizen (denizen?), but exactly which part of my description made it "bad" for regular people?
A nobel peace prize?
Well, my bad. I guess you (I) learn something new every day.

:(
Does anyone else's head hurt yet?
Strange, all statistics I've seen about that (and that they told us about in science class way back when) stated that there are about 51.6% girls...

I know http://www.fox.com/areyousmarter/ gameshow that is about to get a LOT harder!

Death by Snoo Snoo.
And yet the house still makes a profit :P
I think you need to get your sarcasm detector checked out...

Alberta huh? You guys must be REALLY pissed about this HST thing going through. Nothing like a 100% increase in taxes on everything!
Any government that proposes the same bullshit twice is out.
For how long? Besides, no government will EVER, EVER even discuss a bill that could get themselves thrown out of office!
The scary part is if you only ever used VLC (like a lot of people) and just stuck the disk in a ran it, you would effectively be breaking the law without even KNOWING there was a digital lock!
Actually, the blank media tax only covers "music", Movies are apparently not included.

Dishwasha (OP) was specifically talking about Firefox.
