The RCMP in Canada (national police for those that don't know) are actually required when hiring new recruits to make sure that a specified percentage are of certain minorities. The problem is that many of those minorities don't apply as much as white males which means that it is WAY easier for the few minority applicants to get in than the white males. They keep doing radio and TV advertisements asking for people to sign up, but they keep turning people away because "we already have too many white males".

I'm all for equality and ensuring that minorities are respected and not disadvantaged, but sometimes they go WAY overboard.

I would have no problem eating horsemeat either, the same as I have no issue eating pork. The problem is when a burger is labeled "beef" but has horsemeat. I would be just as upset if it had pork instead of beef. If you want to sell horsemeat burgers, call them horsemeat burgers, or just "burgers" and put the horsemeat in the ingredients list like you're supposed to.

Funny, my router running dd-wrt has a great built-in firewall. The only reason consumer routers don't typically come with built-in firewalls is because consumer-grade routers don't typically come with IPv6 support so the manufacturers don't see firewalls as a requirement.

Once IPv6 is available on your everyday BestBuy router, the default firewall configuration will simply need to statefully allow outgoing connections and their coresponding responses. Allowing incoming connections to specific machines on specific ports will be enabled exactly the same way we turn on port forwarding today.

Oh, and why did you pick the XBox? Why not use the PS3 or Wii, neither of which support the same platform as the XBox? Face it, if you count consoles there is NO SUCH THING as a cross-platform gaming environment. In fact, the closest thing would be OpenGL which runs on all 3 major desktops and I believe the PS3 as well (possibly Wii to a limited extent, not sure).
