Agreed. I was saddened when I came back to my home country of Norway a few years ago to discover no shops sells so-called "light beers" anymore. (For you Americans, a light beer in Europe means lower alcohol, about 1-2%, not fewer calories). I always enjoyed these beers because I could pound one when I came home from work and it would be delicious without giving me any impairment. (Before anyone mentions alcohol free beer, I have tried many and never liked them.)
This seems strange to me, making beer so strong. What are they trying to achieve with this? A 50% beer means you can only have a few measures of it before you will get sick. Where is the enjoyment? A pint of cold, crisp draught surely beats a shot of this stuff?
Depending on your age, you may have infringed my IP rights on this idea, because I did this when I was a kid too. Then again, if you are older than me, it is I who was using your IP unlawfully. I might just leave this alone.
Which when fed back into the translator offers many options: geek girl, gamer girl, chick-who-watches-porn, or any variation of a member of the female species who is either completely fictitious/mythical or so ugly that even their pets fear them.
Correct. In fact, having several monitors has proven to screw around with other programs too. I loaded up SWAT4 again, to revisit a decent shooter, and it doesn't even launch until I disable the second monitor.
When I am playing BC2 it sometimes interrupts my game to tell me I have run out of memory and Aero is turning off. I cannot imagine why, I have 1GB GPU and 6GB RAM....
It seems there are some flaws in Aero on 64 bit systems.
Look before you get your panties in a twist, there is nothing unprofessional about me. Everyone here wears rude/silly tshirts, it's no big deal. I threw in the "managers are glaring at me" as kind of a joke.
Secondly, the comment that I have no desire to keep working here was misconstrued. As you might have been able to tell, I am an intern, on a short contract. After I finish I want to move far away from this shitty country. It is not because I don't like working here, because I do.
I know, which threw me quite a bit. I live partly in Surrey so I fly out from Heathrow or Stanstead several times a year, and they once told me to take a belt off because the belt buckle had a revolver embossed on it...
Did I mention it is a company I have absolutely no desire to keep working for?
I am not customer facing, so the dress code is virtually non-existent. People here wear Che Guevara shirts to work all the time. Maybe a shirt depicting a mass-murderer is more acceptable? It's a sick world.
Indeed, I am wearing my TPB t shirt today in support. Some of the younger managers here at work (I work for a major multinational IT co) are glaring at me:(
When I was in Zurich waiting to fly out from Switzerland I had a gander in their Swiss Army shop. You know, pen knives, folding knives etc. I wondered why they would bother selling this stuff at the airport, if you cant take this stuff on board. So I asked the lady. She asked me where I was flying to. England, I said. She said thats fine then, you can take any knives you want on board in your hand luggage....(?)
People ins Switzerland have guns after doing military training, as they are part of a reserve as it were. It is the same in many European countries. That is not the same thing. They have been trained to handle these guns, and have proven themselves responsible to have them.
And regardless as to what actual, pure capitalism is, your country is closer to achieving it than any other.
He is (IMO) most famous from his appearance in British comedy shows. He was in IT Crowd, Black Books, and I'm Alan Partridge (these are shows I know him from, I had not realised he was in Shaun of the Dead).
He does, actually. Compared to most of the world, both the Democratic and Republican parties are very right wing.
You say your Democrats (who are in power right now) are left wing? How come you are allowed to have guns? How come your economy is one of the purest forms of capitalism in the world? How come you have one of the biggest military budgets in the world? Clearly you have not been outside the Great Nation of Alabama, to see the bigger picture.
Up until recently, with the emergence of youtube-style porn streaming sites, we had to download out porn. This often meant trying to guess what you would be in the mood to see in the afternoon, and starting the download in the morning. Unless the finished download was really bad, you would store it for later reviewing. Lots of people therefore have stashes of porn from years ago.
BC2 is more like a combat simulator. MW2 is an action shooter. One is based around realism and the other puts you in the role of a Bruce Willis type guy. Those after realism like BC2, and those after arcade style playability like Modern Warfare. Noone likes MW2.
Forgive my scepticism, but I look at this news and wonder, does it really matter to anyone save those directly employed by Lime.
In this sense I liken this "war on piracy" to the "War on Drugs". Yeah they're making busts, yeah they're tough on drugs, yeah people get arrested/fined/killed. But people still use drugs. LOTS of people use drugs. But nobody wants to say how fruitless their struggle is, how the DEA, just like the RIAA/MPAA is just like Sisyphus, endlessly battling something they stand against.
Indeed. I tried Carlsberg Special Brew once. It literally tasted like beer with vodka mixed into it. I threw it out and never tried it again.

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Indeed. I need one of those for when I'm visiting the in-laws (or rather, when I am leaving).

Wasn't sayin that, just saying it sounds related. It could very well be BC2 or even the nVidia driver.
Ask her if she's still operating, is in a ceasefire, or is currently active, that should give us some clue.

Forgot the funniest part: she said "you can take it on board as long as you dont take it out of the packaging(!)"
WHAT?!?!?!

...shout "like a glove!" in a silly, over-annunciated voice?

Not with Modern Warfare 2 you can't.
