How many episodes have you seen? Or did you just read about it in the TV guide?

For your information, a lot of geeks and nerds love BtVS, I personally place it above Star-Trek (any version/spin-off) as one of my favourite TV show of all time.

That makes me think of my BBS days, we (Montreal bbs users) used to meet every fridays at a bar downtown. For those of you who never did this sort of thing, it's a lot of fun. You get to meet the real person behind the net persona, some people that are real jerks online can be quite nice in person.

And there are girls that show up at those things, the ratio was not exactly 1/1 but it was not too bad, couples were formed.

For those who wonders about what people do at those things, well they do what people do in social gathering, talk, eat, drink, dance, flirt, joke etc...

    Go ahead, meet meat friends.

Why do they send them 1 week appart, it seems to me that they should wait to see what the first one does before sending the second, this way they might be able to fix some of the problems they'll have with the first one.

I've read books on my computer and it is not that bad, it can even be a bit more comfortable than reading a real books. If you're ok with programming or gaming for long stretch of times without break than reading should pose no problem.

Use comfortable colors and leave the lights on (make sure there is no glare), also choose your font well. Me I'm most confortable at the console with no GUI with a simple file viewer, be it in DOS or Linux.

I think one of the secondary reason for making your own distro is to learn more on how Linux works, I know I'd like to try it in the near future (right now I still have troubles with some of the basics), but this is definitivly the kind of thing I am into. The primary reason for doing it is of course that it looks like a fun project, the equivalent of building a radio-controlled model airplane from a kit.

I personaly think that publishing that book is a good thing, and I love that it will also be available in electronic form for free. I do not understand why so many people are upset about it, maybe it's a cultural thing but I don't get what is so bad about someone else making profit from your work (as long as the original work is still accessible and free for other to use and modify). When I post on a public forum, I simply assume that my post might be used by other in ways I never imagined, that's what free communication is all about. Why should the poster care if someone is making a profit from his work? I tought that was what the internet was all about, the sharing of information. The real question is, can I take this book that was made not for profit but to share information, copy it and sell or give away the copies? If not, then that is wrong.
