i dont want some super-serious "oscar" contender with a pedigree.
i want the 'tude.
it should be scrappy.
half of the enjoyment of film should be its "look". eye-candy all the way.
i dont care if its written badly, acted badly, or whatever.
as long is it LOOKS SWEET. the book was never about the dialogue or the "plot".
it was always about the 'tude. in the writing. in the characters. in the plot. etc.
that 'tude should permeate through the entire film.
bullies dont have to bully you at school.
you should always regard any "bully" as being "armed" with a weapon of some sort - and act appropriately.
thats just being street-smart.
if you want to be Raylan Givens and have a showdown in the subway at 5am - thats yer right. id rather pay "the man" $20 and all my credit cards, instead of all the paperwork im gonna have to fill out for blasting him in the face with my smiss-wethon LISP shooter.
but seriously - what part of the gated community do you live in, that you think thats a "realistic" idea? or is it just part of your PTSD?

it always escalates. always. and you dont know the price you will pay "later" when they see a few weeks later and they have a posse 12 deep...

in my highschool, bullies had knives or pistols. if they didnt have those, they had friends who did not hesistate to jump in afterwards.
you should run away, unless you think you can survive the immediate conflict or - more importantly - its escalation later.
thats just frikkin reality.
~~~
now, at work: i DO NOT suffer bullies gladly. i dont care if they are on the executive team or not. they get what they get. if im fired, or let go - im okay with that. its never happened so far...
i cant wait.
a decent gui for my cheetos-stained fingers typing out shellcode while watching the newest episode of The Bachelor.
i dont even have to leave my bed now.
i thought i was the only one who had seen that movie. lol.
rumor has CBS will show $#*! as a Bear Icon stuffed in a U-Haul logo across the show-title when marketing the show in order to comply.
clearly, they (the people who were outsourced to write the Constitution) were post-, before there was anything to be modern about.
lmao the qualification of "the useful arts" is hilarious.
lol. well played. too bad about Peter Watts, though. :(
more like the Dunder-Mifflin Effect...
chrome OS failing wont be detrimental to linux adoption. linux - by definition - does that anyway.
