I had about exactly $26,585.48 of software on a NT box that was not available online. I was using accel (whatever) one day, and the server just BSODed while fetching a file. It wouln't shutdown right, so i had to force it(pull the power cord) off. WHen i booted back up, it said some files were corrupted, and Nt wouln't boot. I din't have a cdrom on any of the machines so ALL of that data was lost. I just might sue for the hell of it. I use Linux now and it hasn't even hicuped at any load.
Im sorry, I just hate M$ so much. Ive yet to see any M$ based machine stay up over 40 days. I have a P75 sitting behind me running Slackware 3.3 thats been up well over a year.

It figures, M$ can't get their lazy ass programmers to get up off their ass and make a OS based on a GUI much less get all the bugs out of it. NT is 6 years old, and STILL has hundreds of exploits, and is closed source. I can only imagine the # of them when they make it open source.

Slashdot is ONE server. and has 2 mail servers. Now explain that over M$'s 5 web-servers? Slashdot gets about 1.5x the hits that M$ does but yet M$ uses more web-servers? explain to me which one is better ! APACHE.
