Secretary of State Clinton, after being asked on her way out of an industry conference hosted by the MPAA, assured reporters that the US's recent $60MM contribution to "strengthen ties" with Sweden was completely unrelated.
The Engadget article isn't really negative at all, while TFA is completely slanted and makes it seem like Netflix is about to fall any day. And maybe I've been living under a rock, but I've never heard of "NorthMobilePost.com".
Just seems like flame bait or competitor propaganda to me. Netflix is still the king of the hill and their subscriber base is growing.
Has anyone seen Roy Anderson's "Songs From The Second Floor"? It's a really great Swedish film about the end of the world that consists pretty much entirely of long, mesmerizingly awesome shots.

I was expecting something a lot cooler than that after reading the description. And why is it so slow? Even with the video sped up to 3x it was still painful to watch.
"...such depictions are essentially created as entertainment and to make money..."
Isn't that pretty much all war is anyway? Especially the current one...
If the military-industrial complex and the ruling classes can get money and entertainment out of it, why can't the little guys?

I can't help but think of this video every time the Table Computer is mentioned: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZrr7AZ9nCY
