    Movies can be $20 to $30 because they're a secondary channel, with the box office being the primary. There is no secondary channel for games.

    The Error dialog from my current job, after I had accidentally tried to re-use an old password: Change Password Your password must be at least 8 characters, cannot repeat any of your previous 7 passwords and must be at least 9 days old. Please type a different password. Type a password which meets these requirements in both text boxes.

    I am the proud owner of a pound puppy and I can't think of any circumstance where I would want to purchase a dog from a breeder. Some of the breeders are downright shady.

    So don't buy a dog from a shady breeder?! A number of my friends have bought dogs from breeders, and they did their research, got recommendations, etc. It's not that hard. But congrats on the pound puppy :)

    Nice pick, you really should have put that in your post so people could tell exactly what part of the country you're going to. I regularly go up to Fort Irwin, a bit northwest of there. And up until last summer, there was no Rogers/Fido cell service past the town of Eagle Lake, heading east. I think you're going to be hard pressed for service anywhere off the main roads.

    That's a bit of a bizarre measurement for river waters, no? Makes it sound at first glance that it's under 1,007 feet of water. Why not the height above the normal crest? It would make it a bit easier to visualize that's for sure.

    Why does it have to be $100? The Dell Mini 9 started at $349 and that alone with the EeePC and AspireOne are the quintessential netbooks.

    My smartphone doesn't cost $100 a month, and I get 6GB of 3G data every month, which I've yet to come close to cracking. I think the usual bill is C$65 after all taxes, $30 of which is the data plan alone. Retention plans rule :)

    If you're don't need an optical drive, then why have one built in to your netbook, taking up valuable room that could be used to make the case smaller or more room for a larger battery? Netbooks are supposed to be small and cheap. If you want an optical drive, get a real laptop IMO.

    The Lotus Elise, which closely resembles and was the initial test mule for the Roadster, costs around 40k US, and that's a standard gasoline engine. How the hell would Tesla get their tech anywhere near 30k?
