How amusing. Another story of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that includes the obligatory Steve Jobs bash.
Last I checked, Steve was running a very successful multi-billion dollar company full time. Maybe ask again when he's retired?
Hell yeah HP 11C! My Dad lost his a few years ago, and when he saw mine on a visit, the one he originally gave to me back in grade 7, he asked me if he could buy it back.
I should see if there's a modern replacement, it's his birthday soon...
Not that I'm expect much in the way of impartiality here, but...
"During the Bush Administration"? There's a subtle bit of tweaking going on there... it was passed by a Democratically-controlled Congress (albeit with a Republican pushing it, who has now mea culpa'd and is leading the drive to repeal it) and stuck in a 300 page energy bill.
Well, 'twas ever thus. It's part and parcel of the US political system, and it pretty much skews all media reports and public perception. The President is somehow to blame for everything, even if the Congress is totally run by the opposite party and writes & passes all the laws it wants. Nope, blame the Pres.
I used to work for a Canadian energy company that had offices all over the country. Natural gas power in Ontario was priced by the cubic metre, but in Alberta it was priced by the Gigajoule. Electricity was cents per kWh, like most other places in North America.
Frankly I was as confused as a lot of others here when I saw TFS mention BTUs. I mean, what a bizarre choice of units to use for electricity generation!
Being able to read quickly at a distance is a definite advantage for Jeopardy! since you can start thinking of the answer while Alex is still reading it out.

Ah bloo bloo bloo, the entitlement brigade launches its first salvo.
"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

That's the bigger WTF: who in their right might would push a huge update like this before such a huge holiday?
Apparently, clouds develop big holes when you fly planes through them.

Actually it sounds like you're the ideal candidate for a netbook. Trying that on an iOS device? No way I'd recommend that solution.
The headaches are easy to deal with, just take some LSD, and console yourself with the fact that China has a single time zone.
I'm convinced! Let's get rid of the whole lot.
Best. Response. Ever.
Then we clearly need to develop space sharks! C'mon, America, where's that can-do spirit?!
"Lick/touch here to vibrate..." Dude, I like the way you think!
First hole in the wall that strikes your fancy? You never know what you will find..
