    I think Macromedia has done a wonderful job with flash. Your bad experience with Flash might be from people who only use flash to do those lame start pages. If you want to see a good flash page why don't you go to macromedia.com

    In New York we have the subway which is way better then getting around with a car, and is pollution free. I'm talking about the trains themselves, I don't know about the stations.

    Obviously Macintoshes and Windows are too easy to use , thats why we use *nix.

    Mac OS X is based on a UNIX kernel it's just using a friendly GUI.

    What the virus does is display a message if a file has a specific date like March 17 and September 17.If it is a ELF binary the message is displayed through console, if PE a windows dialog box. If you click on the link from the post it will tell you.

    Walt Mossengburg of the Wall Street Journal(I don't know if I spelled his last name right) said that StarOffice is not consumer friendly and that Sun doesn't know how to talk to consumers because they mostly do Enterprise stuff. But I think he missed some points, like If I just wanted to write a report I could use StarOffice instead of paying for MS Office which is really expensive and have things I don't need. My point is StarOffice is an alternative if you want to do simple tasks as word processing and such without all the other business features which is geared to executives.

    That site works fine in RC3. I tried the Flash and it worked perfectly. Also the HTML version worked.
