Star Trek Voyager was the best Star Trek ever, well the original was cool also, but Voyager is the best. Picard is a poser compared to Janeway, and how many starships had a borg turned human working onboard?
This is a dumb idea. What will the school board do when the laptops become outdated, and something new is out and better? This will work only if they run linux or some other *nix on those laptops where advanced hardware isn't and issue.
I knew it! People are going port stuff to X-box..and look at this. Come on, the X-box is a computer. Maybe someone can have a console cluster. You have Playstation 2 running Apache, and X-box running something else..maybe not IIS because you don't want to get rooted while playing a game like street fighter or something.
That article was stupid..I stoped reading it after that "ugh" crap, and the rest of the article I saw in Pirates of Silicon Valley. You know you saw it to.
I've used Netscape, Mozilla, Opera, and even lynx. I like Mozilla since I first used it. I had a small problem with Mozilla viewing text on webpages, but that was fixed when I upgraded X to 4.10. Opera is okay, but the way it renders some webpages is totally wrong. I also used Netscape 4.7 and 6.0 but everytime I would go to a new webpage it would stick then load. So I just stuck with Mozilla, and as for lynx, it's good for when you can't startx which happen to me once.
I mean is there a Slahdot article when Microsoft gives out a new Windows 2000 SP?
Nobody on slashdot wants to know when Microsoft releases a SP because they probably don't run Windows 2000, and plus when Microsoft releases a Service pack everyone seems to know..look at that patch for code red. These are newsworthy stories, a 0.01 change in version number is not.
WindowsMe wasn't news worthy and there was a 0.01 change in it.
As the 2.4.x kernel series has been headed to higher and higher revision (x) numbers, I've been wondering what will occur when those numbers are exhausted. Seeing as how we're at 2.4.9, will all the next revisions be 2.4.9.x? It's probably way too early for 2.6. --Alex
Probably the geek high council will not release any stable updates but will release unstable ones instead like 2.5, and that will go on until 2.6. I wonder how many years it took kernel 2.2 to go to 2.4?
I went to Linux World Expo today..it was great not to mention all the free stuff I got like a trial version of kylix on cd. I'm going again.
The only way I would use OS X is if there was a port to the PC platform, and that wouldn't happen because Apple depends on their sale of hardware.
I sent an e-mail to the Venture Capital firm that had invested in Covand when they filed for chapter 11 calling them stupid

Sun used to put the dot in .COM .... What does Microsoft put in .NET?
holes
I wonder if I can sue a website operator for changing my homepage without my knowledge while visiting the operators site?
That's messed up he used a kit. What a hobo.
Star Trek Voyager is still the best. Janeway rules
I'm fine using text editors to write code especially now since it adds color to your code yeee.
The Enterprise had a borg turned human working onboard?

We need that much technology to fight fires. What will be next, trees with automatic defense systems.(Uses AOL CD's to shield from flames)
My Analyst friends don't want to hear it. They think Intel will get it this quarter.
I guess I have to stop my Pentium bashing now.
If Johnny can't read, how will Windows help him?
If Johnny could read Windows couldn't help him.

The thing is, he used only 1 webpage to do the test
