    I once thought as you do. But I though about it and decided they are in a different class from R/C Aircraft. Here's may first cut as to why I think that: They're not R/C planes with wings and ailerons and such. Nor are they R/C helicopters (very hard to learn to fly). They are gyroscopically stabilized flying platforms. Next a R/C plane requires skill to pilot (normally) whereas these quad copters are very easy to fly. Minimal assemble skill is required to get it in the air whereas most R/C kits require skill and time to build. But my final reason to think of them differently: R/C Aircraft have not cause such a huge media kerfuffle as these drone. To attempt to minimize the impact on the innocent R/C crowd I will call them "drones"

    Except in this case they did:

    but surveillance tapes clearly showed a drone hovering over the yard and dropping a package that turned out to contain tobacco, marijuana, and heroin. A spokesperson for the prison said this was not the first time they've had an incident involving a drone, but they wouldn't go into specifics.

    Does that apply to all the cars we import. Like BMW's, Range Rovers, VW's and so on? My 428i uses this: http://www.bmw.com/com/en/insi... I get light flashed at me all the time from other drivers when my low beams are on. This headlight system was engineering and built in the EU not the USA. It's the same system used on EU and US models of BMW's. You were saying?

    Yup, that's my thinking too. I also see no real motivation to upgrade. All my stuff works on Win7. Don't need it, don't want it no thanks. I'm sick of windows and the never ending suckage from my wallet.

    I am impressed at the achievement and all but I find myself saying "welp, it looks like any other rock in the solar system to me, including the moon". I'm not minimizing what they've done but I don't see why this dwarf planet is such a big deal. It's a big rock.

    True but both are VERY hard to prove. For Libel the accuser has to prove what was said was not true. For slander the defendant has to prove what they said was true (or vice verse). In any case it just makes lawyers money. It does make review site look kinda dangerous and in the end does stifle speech. Yelp and other review sites may go away due to the number of these cases popping up. Why risk getting a civil suite filed against you just for a review you didn't get payed for (assuming)?
