Having upright monitors for 10 years now, but i also use some hotkeys to move individual windows to fullscreen/top/bottom of screen or move them to other monitors. That really made me love upright monitors.
The BND is very dependend on technologies by other agencies, their capabilities are basic. And the groundwork the CCC did ("don't work for agencies") seems to work, no new blood for BND from german hackers.
The GUI is very bad. Black on black, nearly no contrast... I'm back to Pale Moon.
Oh, and why is there no migration path between old sync and new sync? It's just a new authentication, everything under the hood is the same. If i run Pale Moon (old sync) and Firefox (new sync) i cannot have both of them, i'm forced to choose.
Oh, still has that DSI connector one cannot use because of missing software. And has a CSI connector for those 2$ cameras that are sold for 25$. I thank the Raspi for kicking off the ARM revolution, but now (after four non overclocked pis that died without warning) i simply hate it. I have moved on to boards that have better power filtering, overcurrent protection, tens of gpios more, sdcard interfaces that dont trash your card and work with any card model and all that at the same cost or cheaper.
That is the result of building an OS where everything is HTML: Many developers don't bother to build installable apps, rely on installable hosted webpages.
Only raspberry pi cameras work with the Pi, despite there being hundreds of CSI capable cameras. And now a touchscreen that will be the only screen that works with the Pi, despite hundreds of DSI capable screens out there. The Raspberry Pi is just another walled garden.
Looks like he is the first to realize that
* openwrt capable mini-routers are very cheap, i use multiple WR703N for tinkering
* there are many firmware generators out there that should it make simple to create an tor-capable image
We will see an firmware-image that you can directly flash from the vendors webinterface and that turns your router into an tor-client.
The device is (as reddit already proofed) an clone of a tp-link router. And someone has already done the work to put TOR on the device.
That leaves us only with hot air on this Kickstarter.
rockets exploded, satellites got lost in space because someone mixed up metric and imperial.
So the UK wants to play no role in space technology in the future, good to know.

that article reads more like... they are thinking about it, but nothing is decided yet
and the name of the Operation should be called "OP GEOHOT". Gibson would be proud.

"Work for a medium sized established company, not a startup run by kids."
what about releasing 10% of the cache at once?
Which is a much simpler solution. Customers blindly buying games without waiting for reviews are to blame.
Yes, it will.
Without Pale Moon i would be forced to use Chromium. And Firefox gets more user-unfriendly by the minute.
That surely will catch some terrorists!
If you think FFOS development is bad, I'd hate to see what you think about Android development!
Android development is why i quit my job and moved on to something more sane.

pretty much everything from olimex. faster, equally cheap, and what not.
i already gave up on ffos development (because of the bad tool quality) a year ago.

BUILD public trust. You can't improve on zero.
So i wonder what the real limit is?

Crippled like... no way to enable the DSI connector? Or only Raspberry Pi cameras able to use the CSI port? Yeah, same thought here.

Embedding? Copyright infringement? EU Court? We need a new copyright law.

He has no clue about the subject. I'm worried.
