How about Rexx? I've yet to find an interpreted ipc control language like Arexx in the windows linux world that is as easy to use. the last time i automated anything was on an amiga as a result.
every app had an arexx port on the amiga. I saw a ruby demo a while back and that might work, as well as rebol. It should be an interpreted language in any case
when I first read the name I read it as El office.
Maybe we should drop this goofy font that represents an uppercase L as a lowercase l?
what does a lowercase l look like in this font?
whats this fonts name? I'd like to sub it for another.
You've just provided them a lever to pull on. they'll destroy the armored cable. the best way is to but the speaker behind a baffle or overhead. mount the speaker 90 degrees to the baffle in a reflex style else they will poke it out.
Probably it's how they did it in Charlton hestons moses movie. If i remember correctly noone has been able to figure out how they did it and kept it secret
I agree they'd have a better chance if they took it to vegas and bet on red. They've got to be ultra greedy ultra gullible morons that got abducted by aliens for the past 2.5 years and so didn't experience the dot bomb.
How about using smart cards with a gpg or some other key pair system? this key would just be used for voting. once the voter swipes the card a server or servers then authenticate and sends the appropriate ballot based on that users precinct.
Two keys, the voters key and say a judges key could be used to generate a third key to encrypt or sign the ballot. this key could then be stored for ballot verification purposes while preserving anonymity.
I would rather have the ballot printed out encrypted. This would force them to scan it in using OCR and decrypt it using the key eliminating any possibility of skullduggery.

Ditto. this man hit it on the head. most folks just want to use thier computer and the apps they need. If you want an example of a perfect os as far as usability look no further than the Amiga OS 2.0 and up. Forom what i've read about the mac osx it sounds like it works like an amiga. When you hear someone say something like "It's easy and intuitive to use yet the CLI is also there when you need it" is talking about an amiga like operating system. Anyone can use it yet the power is there when you need it. The linux/unix community has it ass backwards, not surprising since it came from academia. but progress has and is slowly bieng made and we can all be thankful for that
What i want is something where i can copy in a sheet of music or a few bars and hear what it would sound like. if you really want someting to teach music students with this would be it because you coul experiment and verifiy ideas or intent.

Yeah, I agree hehe. The stack mode took me a little while to getused to, but now i think it makes much more sense especially when working with large data sets.
we used it at work for a remote controlled mars rover demo a few years ago. The Junior first robotics competition Http://www.usfirst.org/jrobtcs/flego.htm uses mindstorms. I don't know what they'll do now.
It would probably be cheaper in the long run to build a new chandra.
Yes the shuttle is indeed a POS. A modern, redesigned Saturn V is what is needed. I'd have to check but i believe the booster on this "Saturn VI" could could be made reusable.
This is the only feasable way to get the moon and put school bus size satellites into high earth orbit at this time period. If you cand find a drydock facility on the ISS you might have a chance to prove me wrong on this point but I doubt it.
The space elevator is an option. we need some sort of geosynchronus space station/drydock facility of some sort. The space elevator though has some major Enginering and financial challenges ahead of it. The apollo Saturn is a proven launch vehicle with much of the bugs ironed out. It could be launch ready while we wait for the elevators completion.

Bah! if you let yourself be slain by a mere elf, then you deserved it!
I got your'e Losslesss right here! (points to crotch). ;)

How many Lanternfish have you caught today?
They couldn't have launched it yet, it's only 4:28 pm cst. if it is scheduled to launch at 4pst they've got another hour an a half at least.

Ok how can they be litle used and yet power my whole desktop? I'm confused.
I never heard of ecos before! thanks for the link. it could be useful for me
They fail it! Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
Because they got a student discount oem version
