Why just a notice about the movie being out on the net? Why not a detailed review with just a few spoilers to tide us law abiding folks over for the next few months..

How to Test Your T1?

A fractional T1, is fractional T1.
It is by definition a "partial T1", not a full T1.
You're mixing words, a fractional t1 is a connection with t1 speeds, but its a fraction of some other connection. A fractional t1 is a t1 for all intents and purposes. A partial t1 would not be a full t1, but then again no one sells a partial t1.
We just inject the entire human population with the aids virus and then the next generation or so will be entirely immune. Granted, billions will die in the process, but we are talking about ridding the world of aids.
Dumbass. There is no hypocrisy. People who support the GPL would prefer if there were NO software licenses, including the GPL. Restrictive licenses are bad.
If gpl fans were really against restrictive licensing, the gpl would be very similar to the mit style licenses. The gpl is all about restrictions, restricting someone to only writing open source software is just as bad as restricting people to only closed source software.. This is why the gpl will never prevail, this is also why a lot of things that are publically gpl'd are also relicensed privately to companies that would rather pay a few bucks and not have to deal with making their software opensource.
Yeh,but the parent post claims to be willing to buy and ipod if it were able to play ogg files so $350 for a sharp zaurus pda would be a good deal as he'd get an ogg player and also the pda capabilities which he wouldn't have with an ipod
You need to get a basic understanding of the law then.
hopefully they weren't careful about how they set up their corporation
Why? The whole nature of a corporation is to limit liability. There is no way to go after the bank accounts and homes and cars of an incorporated partner.
It's really daft isn't it, I mean, I know it's all a game (no real pun intended...maybe..) and there's some sort of legal diplomacy game going on, you shout a big number and you end up with a realistic number-- but it just seems so *infantile*!
I think the idea in this case is to put them out of business.. You sue them for the maximum amount called for by law (they are sueing over millions of faxes over the course of several years) and if you win the corporation can't possibly pay all of it so you put them out of business.. Its a pretty good plan and there isn't anything wrong with it.
Agreed! This OS would sell millions of copies if it ran on x86 instead of PPC.
No, it'd sell a few more copies than it does now, and everyone else would pirate it. Its the same deal with windows.. if it doesn't come bundled with something, people steal it. Apple happens to make the hardware they bundle their OS with, so they don't have to break the law to ensure that people buy it.
It is true that you can have a natural burial, but there is a lot of criteria you must meet.. If I remember correctly, you cant be transported across state lines, you can't have had an infectious disease when you died, etc.
I love how they call them diamonds when they make them out of your loved ones ashes, but they call them cz's and sell them dirt cheap when they are made out of normal cheap carbon.
Monday or tuesdays chicago tribune had this story as well.. very interesting.. They featured a poor guy who was going to pay $4000 to have his cremains pressurized into an artificial diamond so his family would have a keepsake to remember him by.
Think of the amount of food you could get from a mammoth.. I'd love to have a mammoth t-bone.. they should mix in a little cow dna with the elephant and mammoth dna for a tasty treat.
Open bidding's taken care of too: "Because these services are considered a gift, the city won't have to publicly bid the project." Sounds like dirty pool to me.
If its legally considered a gift, that means there can be no consideration of future payment involved. They should just take the gift and then later bid it out anyway.
I'm sure it would be a much lower-cost solution, and shouldn't use up signficantly more power (especially if you underclocked the CPU).
And I'm sure you're wrong.
So basically its a very complicated method of using the old smoke and mirrors affect that magicians have employed for years?
now if only i could find "one of these cheap 128MB graphics cards" so I could "enjoy the speed"

I'll believe it when I can download it from IRC.
they say you'll go to hell for lying..

numerous suction cups
except that is wrong if you read the numerous articles or seen the tv specials.
The fact that this was discovered only after getting the idea from the Spiderman movie: priceless.
Unfortunately, as several people have pointed out already, this is a story about something that was discovered over 2 years ago..

Yeh, but I bet macosx lets you change your screen resolution with out using a text editor and config files..

A lot of the carbon left in the ash is from the wooden coffin, not grandma...
Except they don't cremate people in wooden coffins.

What does hell have to do with cremation?
Not really considering its like 4 grand for a 1/4 caret "diamond" when normal cz diamonds are a fraction of that price.

actually a p1-166 with 64 meg or so of ram is pretty decent when setting on a 100mbit line going to a t3 regardless of the website content..
