What's with the gratuitous complaints about the "free market" not giving some mythical "optimal solution" that lets you send your "100% guaranteed opt-in" spam without interference? I call bullshit. If Hotmail isn't accepting your "really honest it's not spam" mailing list stuff, maybe you should try contacting them about it. The "free market" doesn't magically solve problems without people doing what it takes to address the problems.
They will still arrest you for, among other things, creating a disturbance, interfering with an officer, resisting arrest, mopery and dopery.;) And so you will still need a good lawyer.
At least some of the argument in TFA assumes that the botnet's toolkit has itself been cracked and exploits are available making it possible to turn the tables on the botnet controllers. That may be a rather large assumption, even just for the sake of the argument.
Having done both pot and LSD among others I can say that they definitely don't help with programming. You might thing they're helping while you're high, but when you sober up and get down to debugging the godawful mess of code you wrote you'll know better. Adderall type drugs might be the exception, but I never tried those.
People remember when you hurt them or steal from them or lie to them, and they tell others about it too. That sort of reputation will hurt you in the future.
But children often have trouble understanding the future impact of their actions. Asking them how they would like it if someone did that to them can bring the point home too.
Well, yes, the inability to, or worse the refusal to correct one's beliefs in the face of evidence to the contrary is a negative character trait.
I'm not talking about people who simply have not encountered the truth.
A 6.2 is still a pretty damn big earthquake. Any quake above a 5.0 can be very destructive if it hits in a populated area where building codes aren't up to earthquake-resistant standards.
You shouldn't worry about it. You already noticed the trait in yourself and that's at least half the battle. A few years of practice at things like explaining your ideas without getting impatient or insulting the other person when they don't get it right away will take care of the other half.
It won't stay free if it's an economically viable source of energy.
Just like restaurants which used to pay to dispose of used fry oil now charge for it.

Tell that to the Australians.
Why should politician's promises about pensions be any different than any of their other promises?
It was a dumb idea when they issued the Susan B. Anthony dollar.
It was a dumb idea when they issued the Sacagawea dollar.
It's still a dumb idea.
No, it won't save anything. There are more costs to changing the currency than just the printing costs at the US Mint.
The only place I ever saw dollar coins in actual use was the Miami metrorail system.

That would be Windows, Android, and iOS, right?

No doubt they got a lot of phone calls from MAFIAA lobbyists with totally convincing $facts and $viewpoints.
"O brave new world, that has such people in it."
Unless the people who worked on Unix were also the ones doing LSD then yes, it is very much a coincidence.

Wait, are those cross-hairs? Oh shit...
I just got another call from Rachel at 5:07 PM EDT.

What is so terrible about implying that some people's beliefs are inferior to others? Believing falsehood is indeed inferior to believing the truth.

Gee, this really makes me want to upgrade right away.
My top four are Wikipedia, Firefox, Opera, Chrome. I use Firefox.
They sit on the city council.
Change positions every so often. It's more fun that way. ;)
