People think, it is cool to have one, because nobody else does, and it will be "good for me". The problem isn't the scooter being a bad idea, because it isn't. The problem is, when the number of scooters increases to the point of becoming a problem. And there is an entitled mentality to the people that buy them, expecting wide open roads/sidewalks and avoiding all the hassles of walking and other more mundane forms of getting from one place to another. When that doesn't happen, they get all pissy about everyone ruining their great plan of scooting around everywhere.

And I blame the complete lack of courtesy; the self indulgent asshattery that is permiating our society. We allow it, because short of making being an asshole illegal, there is very little we can do. In the days of old, the asshole would be punched in the face (or clotheslined in this case) and be dealt with forthrightly. But that just brings out the greatest form of assholery, the lawyers.

  2. Time / Money trade off?

Does that count the time waiting in line at a restaurant?
Does that include tips for waiters and delivery people?
Does that include all the gas going to / from wherever you eat?

The key to enjoy cooking for me is multifaceted:
    1) I'd rather experiment in the kitchen and discover something amazing (science).
    2) I'd rather have the satisfaction of making my own meals (accomplishment)
    3) I'd rather try some creative time (art)
    4) I'd reward myself with great food.

Yes, I can sit and relax in a restaurant, or I cook and relax in my kitchen. If you think it is a chore, it will be. If you think it will be fun and enjoyable, it will be.

Russia was behind Clinton. We know this because the Dossier was largely Russian propaganda funneled through Steele and Fusion GPS, funded by Clinton Campaign. Democrats don't give a shit about that "Russian Collusion", which is the ONLY verified actual link between Russia and either of the two candidates that DID have influence on the election.

And a year and a half of investigations, special counsels, and a shit tonne of MSM "Russia Trump Collusion", we find out that most of it was actually the US government spying on Americans, on behalf of the Obama administration, in an effort to keep Trump from winning.

I didn't vote for Trump, but I can see where the actual problem is, and Adam Schiff is blaming Americans who support the 2nd Amendment as being Duped by Russia.

The Democrat Party has been unhinged since the election, and I don't see any sign that is gonna change any time soon.

Well, the counter is, hard to prove is proof of collusion by implication. The whole thing is a contrivance to keep the whole "Russians Colluded with Trump", even when it is clear that Trump and Russia weren't linked in any substantial way (however Clinton was, but ignore that, because Trump is evil).

Adam Schiff is either evil or incompetent. After all, he implied that if you're Pro 2nd Amendment, you're under Russian influence.

This is the problem I have with your statement. Intelligent beings can rationalize just about anything, including Genocide. In fact, you can't have Genocide without being rational.

People tend to think Genocide is irrational, but the reality is, it is rational, even if it isn't good. Good and Evil are constructs and judgmental requiring rationality. If your rationality reaches the construct that a certain race is "bad", then that is how Genocide happens.

As a primer, you should read the I, Robot series by Asimov, as it outlines how even a sentient constrained robot can do horrible things, even when programmed with the "Three Laws".
