I guess it would be better if the Nazi's contracted out their dirty work at Auschwitz. Then they could have been excused by people like yourself. (yes, I Godwined the thread).
"The Nazis didn't kill the Jews, the private contractors did"
When you have people who won't say "radical" anywhere near "Islam", but will use that term against other groups, you make a fair guess as to where their true allegiance is.
Ah yes, asking for his intent, wherein he'll lie, distort or otherwise come up with some lame excuse. I keep seeing this theme throughout internet arguments. Intent is really hard to prove. Which is why conspiracy charges rarely require it, where you have to prove they intended to carry out the conspiracy.
Next time you're caught speeding, try telling the cop, "I didn't intend to speed" and see where it gets you.
Actually, he's the kind of person you need to have written documentation. He "tries" is tacit acknowledgement that he has to put effort into not being a sleaze. He just doesn't realize that his tendency is towards sleaze, and he "tries" to not be one.
Or, as my dad used to say "Trying is a noisy way of doing nothing"
As for Documentation, it is the key to eliminating confusion and miscommunication.
"My understanding from our meeting is that you want me to drop X and start Y immediately"
"No, I want you to finish X as quickly as you can, and then start Y"
"Got it, thanks for clarifying, Finishing X in the next couple days and then will focus on Y"
"I want X finished today, so you can start Y tomorrow"
"Got it, You need X finished today, so I'll pull in Bob and Sue to help me get it done today, so that I can start Y tomorrow"
"Bob is busy, but using Sue is okay."
"Pulling Sue in, we'll get X done today, working overtime if necessary"
It isn't the "first past post" that is the problem. The real problem is that we have a public primary to vote of private party candidates. Get rid of the Government sponsorship of political party voting, and you'll solve a great deal of the problem.
Imagine there are no party makers on any ballot in the Primary, and the top two winners make it to the general election. Imagine if California had to chose between Bernie and Hillary for President in a week, and Texas was voting between Trump and Cruz.Getting to 270 Electoral votes would be much much more difficult, but in the end, we'd have an election that actually represented the real values in America, and not the corrupt perverted version we have now, that has given us two candidates that 2/3 of Americans can't stand either.
You really think that most Americans actually want either of these two clowns*?

I have a phrase, it is quite useful: "Can I get that in Email?"
If the answer is "no", then I assume I am free to ignore that request. Since they have no record of the request, then they have ability to fire me for not following said request. It is really easy to play that game, you just have to play along. The issue is, you have to play it 100% of the time.
And if they ever try to "Get" you, you play dumb, "I don't recall".
The other thing I find useful is sending an email with a "brief summary" of whatever meeting it was. If they don't respond, then that is tacit acknowledgement the summary is accurate, and it becomes official record. Any non-written "clarification" would be followed up with same.
The problem is, far too many people find sleazy as an acceptable practice in organizations, and actively participate in the sleaze. Don't participate and you have nothing to worry about.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not raging. And you are the person who I directed my comments to.
You have, however, reminded me of the self centered outlook many Apple Fanbois can be. Even when we aren't talking about you, you have to make it about you. Nicely done!
It is binary. You have a binary choice. Complaining isn't changing the choice or the outcome of your decision.
I am sure that there were people in the meetings that made the case for the missing items. So it isn't like they don't know people want these things. It is more that people won't care enough to change enough to go elsewhere. They will learn to live without the missing things.
I write extensively on my Android Smartphone. I can type as fast (or faster) using SWYPE keyboard as on a regular keyboard. I don't need a mouse. And I am not tethered to a desk, power, network cable. Writing 20 pages takes discipline, but that is the same regardless of the method of writing.
As a plus, I often use my voice to dictate large chunks of what I am writing, when I have a lot to say. It was very awkward at first, but it just flows now. And I can do that while driving, something I cannot do while typing on a keyboard or grabbing a mouse.
So, you're projecting your own weaknesses onto me. I have my own weaknesses, but yours aren't mine.;)
I've heard it wasn't Russians at all, but US Intel agencies that leaked it, because they (the low level agents) hated the idea of Clinton Presidency, especially once they saw the writing on the wall about the Comey investigation not going after Clinton.
Granted, that is speculation and unnamed sources. But that seems to be all that is needed these days.
Brexit is about fear. The Anti Brexit people fear that everything will go on the same, or better. The ProBrexit people were fearing whatever it was they fear.
The reality is, neither side is going to be fully happy, as the doomsday won't occur and but neither will the benefits. It is just a different set of cronies will get rich.
"Desktop" is no longer on the "desktop", and hasn't been for a while. And by desktop, you also mean "Laptop". But our "desktop" isn't on our desk, It is in the palm of our hand. It is running Android or iOS, and it isn't running Windows.
Just wait till ChromeOS and Android are merged, and all your android apps run natively on your ChromeOS "desktop" (or laptop).
I am a "baby boomer" (supposedly, and depending on when the end date actually is).
A lot of babyboomers (people older than me) have disconnected from the MSM (Newspapers, TV) completely. They aren't getting "news" at all, because they find it unreliable. The REAL people in love with MSM are the progressives who love pointing to the echo chamber of the MSM for all their own view points.
For instance, these people are the ones that cannot formulate a single coherent reason why Clinton should be president, except "she has a vagina". And it doesn't matter what WikiLeaks has on her (RUSSIANS!!!!). She could be involved in child sex slavery and they would still vote for her.
It is easy to tax money you have, not money you don't have.
My suggestion is this, tax money transfers out of the country. Followed by giving incentives to money flowing into our country. It isn't a tariff on goods coming into our country, at least directly, it is applied directly to the people / corporations transferring money over seas.
If my view is correct, the money flowing out would slow, and money flowing in would grow, and a growing economy would likely be a problem of growth, not sluggishness.
My daughter was on a radio program for a while, and used the "personality name" of "Ming"... everyone assumed she was of oriental descent. Her personality name was not based on being oriental either, it had other origins, similar to "Swimming" being shortened to "Ming".
People make all sorts of assumptions, and it is all prejudice. It is how the human mind works to fill in missing information. That process, is usually built out of experience (right or wrong, good or bad), and is a evolutionary design to keep us safe. People who ignore their prejudices and end up in problem situations are what we call... "Darwin Award Winners", It may work out for them for a while, but eventually ignoring your experiences will kill you.

He's not.
It only happens when people care about the goal more than the means.

"Jane is fine"

Here is a thought, Taxes are not the right of government.
It is almost like you are arguing that taxes at 45% is "fair". I call it criminal.
So your one criticism of Trump is his hair? That is DEEP!
"Anthony Weiner is an Republican Puppet of the KGB! "

Here is a thought to all you people complaining about Apple's decision making on their products ... DON'T BUY IT.
The only way to get Apple to listen, is to vote with your dollars. If you buy their products, you prove them right.
I haven't moved the goalpost. I'm suggesting that the goal posts aren't where you thought they were. There is a difference.

Hillary has more in common with Russia than Trump does. But don't let the facts get in the way of a good troll right?
The year of Linux on the desktop has arrived. I think Netcraft is smelling the rotting corpse of Microsoft.

MSM stopped reporting the news a long time ago. It is now just propaganda for the power class. See WikiLeaks for evidence.
It is Hackers breaking news, and the "networks" trying to keep a lid on it all.
